Recently, I purchased two Amazon Cloud Cams, one for the front entrance and one for the back entrance. Having spent an arm and a leg for the Amazon cams, I had less than half the cost of an Amazon cloud cam to purchase another cam to watch my four-legged furry monsters (dogs: Raylie & Saatchi) while I am not home. Having seen Apeman camera at a friends house & relying on his advice, I bought one. Considering that this camera costs half that of Amazon's, I say it is on parr with Amazon Cloud Cam. First thing I noticed, the user manual is written by someone whose first language is not English. If you know what is the difference between the two major Wifi frequencies, namely 2.4GHz and 5GHz, and you know which one is which, you should be OK. Instruction on how to press the reset button in the manual is confusing since it does not say where the reset button is located.also note that you need to power up before resetting. To save you time, I marked it in my photo. You need to manually turn the head upwards, and reset button is under the sphere shaped head. Like Amazon can, this one does NOT have the ability to connect to a 5GHz network. Finally, download the IPC360 apo and set up should not take more than 5 minutes. What I absolutely LOVE about Apeman is the ability to move the head almost a full circle and see what is going on around the camera. Using your phone, you can move the camera up, down, left and right. Amazon can sadly does not have this capability. Like Amazon camera, this one also has two way voice. While amazon cam gives you a fish-eye view, this cam gives you a regular view but remember you can turn the camera remotely from your phone in almost all directions. Amazon's camera. Keep in mind that the price is a little less than half that of Amazon's. Connected to the same network, Apeman on HQ setting gives a better pic quality and offers SD quality for those times your cellphone speed is at snail's pacs. Inally, don't forget to update your Apeman firmware.
Update: I'm starting to like Apeman A LOT. They offer Amazon Cloud storage for 99 cents per month to store video for 7 days. If you buy yearly, it is $7.99. Amazon cloud cam price is $6.99 per month which is 12 times more.
I have been searching for a WiFi camera for my toddlers’ room, and I am very pleased with my decision. Here are a couple of things that I like about this camera:
1. The setup is super easy! Plug in, download the app on smartphone, enter my WiFi password, and DONE! So easy that I got the camera setup and run within 3 minutes!
2. The sound and picture quality are nice and clear. Especially the night vision is very important for me!!! I put this camera in my toddlers’ room, and the room is very dark when my kids sleep (no nightlight and the windows are blackout covered), but I can still get pretty clear black and white images!!!
3. I don’t need to pay for cloud storage monthly (I can if I want to), I can just insert a micro SD card and start recording.
4. Camera can be remotely rotate 355 degrees on smartphones or tablets. This eliminates me from turning camera manually, and I get to “search” my kids everywhere in the room!
Overall great solid camera that does the job very well!!! I am going to get another camera for my front door.
I included a photo of myself on this camera showing it on my phone and the picture quality. I did have issues setting it up at first. The key is that the camera only works on 2G! Not 5G which is what I was trying at first. And it DOES SAY in the directions that 5G is not supported temporarily. So if you have problems setting up to your wifi this is likely why! I saw nobody had mentioned it so I figured I would. It can lag for a couple seconds but again, this is on 2G for now and it is still way worth paying under $150 !!! Some are outrageous just for wanting security in your home. I'm going to move ours by the back door or front door. I will probably purchase another one. It is well worth every penny. It is easy to navigate on the camera and you really do get pretty much every angle! I'm in love.
I did my research on several different wireless cameras. I read all the reviews and decided on this one. I have to say, I’m quite impressed. It shipped quickly. Noticed the great quality as I took it out of the box. The set was quick and easy. The 1080p video looks amazing. I got it for when my kids get off the bus , and come through the front door. For this price I plan to give as Christmas gifts. One stop shop for me. I hope they all enjoy it as much as I do.

I have been looking for IP cams for awhile, but they can become pricey, I found this one and it was a great price for being HD, so I decided to try this one and also another brand that I will also review, the app works great and I accessed at home and when out via 4G and quality is great. Keep in mind to record you will need a Micro SD card, and I think you can get cloud service but not interested in doing that right now. I will continue to try it out and play with it. If anything changes I’ll come back here to let you all know. So far happy with purchase
I had been looking for a simple security camera for weeks now, one that did not require a monthly payment plan. I wanted to use it to keep an eye on the house and the dog while I was away. And the Apeman ID73 does exactly that. Been using it for a month now and it runs quietly and efficiently. The quality is not 1080p most of the time but I’m not picky, 720p will do. The 2-way audio works properly, the fact that I can store the video in a 64gb micro sd chip is great! Gives about 8 days of video to review! The iphone app gave minimal issues, while giving loads of options for the camera setup. Lastly the camera has a very bright night vision mode which activates appropriately.
My only cons are that the motion detection, even at its lowest sensitivity, is much too sensitive and will catch even the smallest change in daylight, but since I rarely use it, it’s not an issue. Another thing is that all the data stored in the memory can only be viewed through the app, and nothing else. The camera will not work with a 5g connection which isn’t a big issue either, but can be in the future.
All in all, it might not be perfect, but I am still happy with it. Greatly recommend it, as a casual security setup.
This thing is awesome! Easy to setup just cost me less than 2 minutes including downloading the app. Simply connect it to WiFi on the app then you are good to go. The wall mount came with the camera is easy to install. The microphone has about 1s lag but it’s fun to use especially when you want to attract your cats’ attentions and play with them by rotating the camera. The video quality is not super good but why do you expect a 4K video on a $30 device? Overall it’s a nice product for someone who wants to monitor his apartment or wants to see what’s going on with the pets at home from work. I am satisfied with this purchase!
I just set this up before work today and I only had 20 minutes left to get ready for work. Set up was easy and fast. I have Xfinity and had no issues with the 5G other reviewers mentioned with the Victure PC530. I haven't tried the SD card reader yet since I haven't had time but you can record still shots or videos from your phone without the SD feature. The following will not work without a memory card: Alert mode (for motion detection) and Timer recording. The camera moves by swiping on the screen or touching a point on the screen. To move it nearly 360 degrees instantly, you can easily create a 360 degree panoramic picture and once its set, you touch any point on that panoramic image and the camera points to it. The panorama is just below the main camera coverage area. The two way voice is real loud on the receiving end and sending end, which can easily adjust. The camera swipe command only has a 1 second delay. The voice, same thing. Without the memory card you can program the camera up to 3 different times to focus on certain area at a certain time of the day. You point the camera to a certain area, press the clock symbol, "Shooting angle 1" shows up and you change the timer in military time 0000-2400 hours, and click ok. You can program up to 3, then easily press "clear all shooting angles" once you no longer to need those 3 programmed times and start all over or leave it as is. On the menu you can switch from HD to SD or auto. Hope this review helps.
I would like to state that this camera is not a bad camera overall. The picture quality is really good and when the camera is working (key word WHEN) it really is good camera. The customer service is also really great and I had a great experience with the customer service agent.
With all the above being said I still think this camera is not worth buying. In my experience this camera is CONSTANTLY losing the server. It will be working fine one minute and then suddenly the screen goes black and it will not work no matter what you do to troubleshoot it until the company's server works again. I have even checked to make sure it isn't a problem with my internet/wifi connection and it never is. There is no point in buying a camera that is constantly glitching, freezing or just having a completely black screen 60% of the time. It defeats the purpose of owning one.
