These headphones are great and a must for my travel. The build quality is exceptional for the price. I wear them to bed sometimes and they haven't creaked or broken yet. Their battery life is quite good as well. The included case is nice but I find myself not using it often since I use them so frequently. Still nice that it is included instead of a simple pouch. The pads are comfortable as well, they feel very similar to Bose QC35 but at fraction of the cost. (Keep in mind, similar does not mean the same) At this price point, you really can't go wrong. The design is very nice but their logo is quite prominent which some might dislike. At least it is etched on nicely in brushed aluminum like trim. The 3.5mm wired option is nice if the battery does runs out away from home, but I find myself charging them about once a week and never needing to charge on my trips.

The only real downside is that sounds will leak at higher volumes and can be heard by those immediately around you. This only happens if you turn up volume higher than about 75%.

To summarize, I say that these sound really good and get the job done.

I was contacted by TaoTronics for the review below and they pointed out to me that the Bluetooth 5.0 mentioning was an honest mistake at the time of listing and that it has been corrected*. Also since the previous review, I have also opened up more to these headphones objectively. I may have come off as too critical, as I came from a Sony XM3's (that accidentally broke) and couldn't afford to replace them one-for-one. And wanted something that would also have a feature to pair to two devices simultaneously (which the $350 Sony XM3's did not). TaoTronics have also more than generously made up for the inconvenience caused by the mistaken description. They have exceptional customer care. I have also updated the pros and cons below. I have decided to keep these headphones and use them as my daily driver.

Off the bat, I am amused at how deceived I feel with the TT-BH046's. I now realize I have paid for form over function. The headphones are built well and feel good to wear. And that seems to be what makes them the most expensive of their lineup. But I was expecting the big 2019 update with Bluetooth 5.0 (wrongly shown as 5.0 on the comparison section*) and aptX. But the product only does Bluetooth 4.2, and all my tests prove that it only supports SBC. But here are my thorough list of pros and cons:

Pros:
- Looks good (subjective)
- It is solidly built
- Comfortable on the head
- Great noise isolation (not ANC, but the isolation from padding)
- Superfast pairing (I mean the fastest I have ever seen, and I had a $350 Sony XM3 before)
- Sounds good despite using only the SBC codec, good highs and decent (not overblown) lows
- Battery life champion (without ANC)
- Quick charging
- Simultaneously pairs fully (phone+media+controls) with two sources
- ANC works independently from the Bluetooth power controls
- Decent music audio quality even when ANC is on

Cons:
- Not very compact
- It only supports SBC codec, no aptX
- Definitely not comparable to the $350 Sony (XM3) or Bose (QC35-II) like many reviewers like to say; not even close
- Not as comfortable after long duration use
- ANC on these caused me dizziness/disorientation/headaches during long duration usage
- Independent ANC can make you forget to turn ANC off when you take it off
- With standalone ANC (no music), it lowers outside noise by changing the pitch of the outside noise (which is decent for its price). But in a relatively quiet environment, standalone ANC emits an audible white noise which is louder than silence.
- Music quality changes when ANC is on; it is different but I wouldn't say better or worse.

I am getting adapted to them over longer usage periods without having dizziness/disorientation/headaches. But I have mostly been using it with ANC off, unless the ambient noise in its lowered state is still audible enough to mask the white noise.

I may steal these from my husband. LOL He has the earbuds and he does love them. He wanted the headphones so they will stay in place when he is hot and sweaty working in the yard. I opted to buy the same brand as the earbuds and he is thrilled with them. He has had them for over a week now but today was the first day he was able to wear them while cutting grass. He absolutely loves them. He said they cut out most of the noise from the lawn mower and since there is no wire he can move more freely without getting tangled up. He said they are very comfortable as they ear piece is very soft. I did not get to try them outside but did try them inside while cleaning house. I loved the clarity of them. They sound like an expensive stereo system to be honest. I would definitely recommend these to anyone look for great quality and clear sound. Thinking of getting these for our sons for a Christmas present.

I have these headphones for quite a while now and I'm impressed by the sound quality and range of these. The battery life is good as well, they have not run out of battery for me yet (I do charge them like once in 2/3 days). Additionally, they are comfortable to wear for hours. I have used these for phone calls and the mic also works well. The only drawback I would say is the mic does not work (by design) when the headphones are auxed in, not sure why they would limit the headphones this way. But for the price I would say these are amazing.

Out of the box. Beautifully wrapped, in the very nice case. Charge it. 45 minutes to full charge! On, push button, paired in seconds- fast. I was listening to a webinar in under a minute. Fits well, adjustable well (note the adjustable in the pics), and can answer the phone. And, airplane adapter. Oh my. New, latest, best, and good value.

I have tried this and another Bluetooth headset model from Taotronics (TT-BH028). I had not previously heard of the brand before, but decided to give it a try because of the price and positive reviews. I was pleasantly surprised by the build and audio quality. I have just started using TT-BH047, but have been using TT-BH028 as my daily driver for over six months and wanted to get one with noise cancellation because of my long train commute. They're both amazing headset. My wife has a more expensive Sony NC headset from for three times the price and I can't honestly tell the difference. But I'm not an audiophile. For me, this unit has great sound, great build quality, and great value. If you are on the fence, I would definitely recommend this headset.

I got these headphones not expecting much, primarily something to shield my ears and listen to music while mowing the lawn that was cheap enough to not worry about but half decent... These blew away my expectations as they actually isolate sound quite well and have such rich bass and muds far and above other headphones at this price point. They've actually been promoted to everyday listening from yard work (though I still use them for that). They're durable and mature looking with metal in all the right places to eliminate that cheap plastic feel headphones often have. Excellent set with fantastic battery life... Would buy again!

Have had the product for about 6 months now. For the price, it's very good headphones with ANC feature. Obviously, it's nothing groundbreaking compared to Sony or Bose which priced much higher but you get a very decent bang for your buck. The ANC helps minimize a lot of outside noise, but you cannot expect a miracle on this budget wireless headphone to completely isolate any surrounding noise like the Sony or Bose.

The battery last fairly well, I get between 15-20 hrs of a real world usage, YMMV. The visual itself is nice, simple, not too tacky, but I wish the cans were a bit flatter. The sound is pretty good, I personally think it has a bit more punchy bass than the $350 Bose QC35. Sound preference is very subjective but this headphones delivers a very good satisfying overall sounding for general listeners.

Where do I start? The headphones are soft and comfortable even over my big head. The Active Noise Cancelling feature works well when there is peripheral sound competing with your music. I love the fact that a very well made case was included for the headphones - which fit perfectly into the case. Lastly, I wanted to make sure that I said something about the overall design of the headphones, which are ergonomically thoughtful, attractive, and functional in an intuitive way. It took me no more than two minutes to perform pairing between the headphones and my tablet. Great job!

This is one silky smooth operator! Maybe a little toned down in the high mids, but very neutral. The bass is outstanding and deep. This is a refined version of my beloved TT-BH-22. Sweeter top, and they're in another league bass wise.

Built with lots of metal and higher end plastics. And just to have said it, they compare to my Sony's and Audio Technica headphones!

The noise cancelling is now up there in the Bose area!

I have four other TaoTronics headphones and these are the best while the new TT-BH-060 was a snall disappointment.

If I had to point out one negative it has to be the size and weight. Metal is heavier than plastic and you can feel it. They are also larger than expected which doesn't matter to me who's a big guy, but they look monumental on my petite wife's head.

Another TT winner and best in class $100 ANC cans. No doubt about it!

Update. A colleague brought his new Sony WH1000XM3 over and I asked him to compare his headphones with my new $299 Taotronics (I lied). He was at it for 15 minutes or so switching back and forth. At the end he said "I think you've made a good decision getting those, and $300 is not so bad". He said that his Sony's were a little better taking away sudden sounds like hand clapping while the two were similar on ambient noise like a fan and someone mowing the lawn outside. I tried also and the TaoTronics bass is a bit over the top on hip-hop tracks with booming bass lines. At the very top the Sony's may be a bit more open, but we disagreed on that. Otherwise, it was amazing how similar they sound! I told him that I bought them for under $100. First he didn't believe me, then he wanted some for his wife but they were sold out on Amazon. Yes, these are that good.

I see a one star review here. Honestly, I think there may be something wrong with his headphones. He should contact TaoTronics and have them replaced. I had to do that once, and their service is awesome. Got new ones and it was all good. If you think these sound bad they have to be faulty.
