So let me start by saying that my bird is a bitter, old man. He's a 20 year old cockatiel inadvertently named 'Pocahontas' because when I first got him, I was told he was a girl. He's been angry about it ever since. Anyway, he sleeps most of the day, even when he's on his 'playground' so I was looking for a new form of stimulation to engage him. This worked as well as I could have hoped. I slide a half a thing of millet in there and let him go to town. I think he's grown to like the bell quite a bit because he'll walk by and give 'er a ring sometimes just to remind me he's there. Can't complain about this thing. It was originally designed as a dog chew toy, so you know it's durable. All in all, definitely worth the money.

I'm honestly not sure if my birds (two green cheek conures) love or hate this toy. They floof up at and attack anything with a bell on it, which I think is hilarious, but again... Are they doing it because they're playing or because they want to kill the bells? I may never know, but it sure is hilarious watching their reactions to this thing. I ended up buying one for each of their cages (they're housed separately) and they go over and attack it randomly, then ignore it at other times. This is a great size for conures of any size and would probably be OK for cockatiels also, though I'd look for the smaller version if you have a budgie or something similarly sized. Very sturdy and entertaining.

Obviously this toy is pretty boring on its own. I've added millet sprays and other snacks into this to make it more appealing. I wasn't sure about buying a rubber toy for a parrot but mine hasn't damaged it yet. I also clipped out the metal clapper for the bell, I can't stand bells. The color I received is lime green. I've got it stuffed with paper and Lafeber's Classic Nutri-Berries for Cockatiels 12.5 oz. Tub in this photo. My Jenday plays with it occasionally for the treats.

I always get this toy for my 24 year old blue front amazon for Christmas. Totally one of his must have toys as he never seems to get bored with it. No telling how long it will last... It all depends on if he gets obsessed with destroying the rubber vs the treats or toys I put inside... But the toy usually makes it to at least 6 months and at best a year. I tried one similar to this one that was orange/football shaped and he ripped it apart in no time. This round ball version of this toy seems to be made of more durable stuff.

I have a picky parrot when it comes to toys. When I buy a new toy, I never know if she will like it, be afraid of it, or just ignore it. I originally purchased this ball at the pet store and she immediately loved it!! It soon became her favorite toy and has gone through several. I was so delighted to find it on Amazon at a cheaper price. For those who have parrots, you know how expensive bird toys can be, especially if they like it and eventually destroy it from playing with it every day!

The Hol-ee roller for birds is a creative self play toy designed to challenge your birds intellect and provide a reward when they learn how it works. This 100% natural rubber toy hangs from a chain and is designed to be stretched and filled with treats.

I have a sun conure that LOVES this toy. I always have a spare on hand as she would be very upset if her favorite toy was not available to her. The only downside is that she loves it so much, I have to hear the bell ringing a LOT. With her continual play and chewing on it, this holds up for a long time. Good product for my featherbutt!

My birds love these toys and have a blast hanging from them and trying to get at the bell! Not too noisy and provides lots of interactive entertainment. I have two caiques and several conures, and this is a great size for all of them. It also seems very durable, though I am sure a larger and more determined parrot would have no problem destroying it. I have one in each cage and on their main play top. I would definitely purchase again.

Nice product. Larger than I expected, but I didn't read the specs so who knows how I formed those expectations. Still works out fine for my budgie boys - I like to stick millet in there for a bit of foraging fun.

My African Grey loves this toy. He hangs upside down from it and loves when it spins around. He literally spends hours hanging from and tearing at this ball. They stand up to this very well. I do have to make a modification to it as the only thing that holds the ball on the chain is the bell inside. The bell is too big to fit through the holes, but my parrot is really rough on it, so the bell eventually works it way through. I just remove the bell and put a carabiner on the end and latch it straight to the ball. This lasts until he does finally work his way through the tough rubber, but that usually takes 5 or 6 months. Hands down my parrots favorite toy.

This is my cockatoo's favorite toy, and because the tone of the bell is so pleasant, I like it too. The only criticism I have is that when the toy was mailed, the bell was put through one of the larger holes in the rubber ball and my bird immediately pulled it off and began to remove the bell's clapper like he does with every bell he can get his beak on. I was able to rescue the bell and get the chain through one of the smaller holes in the ball and weeks later it is still intact and he still loves to ring it through the protective rubber ball. If you have a bird who loves bells but tends to disassemble them, this is a great toy as long as you make sure the chain is through one of the smaller holes.
