I decided to roll the dice and try the Line Cutterz Snatcher fish net. It probably seems ridiculous to spend almost double for what appears to be an identical net sold at Academy Sporting Goods under another brand (Foreverlast G2). I wouldn't surprise me if they are both mfg side by side at the same OEM over in China. However, I've had such bad experiences with "Neverlast" products that I've vowed never to purchase one again.
On the surface, this net appears to be a quality product and if treated properly, should hold up to years of hard fishing. Even though these type of nets are primarily marketed to kayakers, I've used a similar net on my powerboat for years without issue. I really like the size b/c it stores easily and quickly deploys. The only issues I've ever run into with one of these little guys is netting the bigger bull reds (red drum) and big uglies (black drum). I've actually run into a few whose heads were so large I couldn't get them through the hoop to either pull them over into my kayak, or up on a jetty.
I like the idea that the net is polymer lined and should hold up well to jagged fish fins, gills, netting between rocks or over oyster reefs. Another nice feature is this net floats. I cannot count the number of times my old nets have either been dropped while wading or fallen off my kayak, but quickly been recovered because it floats. My only gripe is the super cheaply made plastic tether clip, which do not last well and is why I deducted one star...will replace immediately with one made of marine grade stainless like on my older kayak nets.
Thought it may too big. But was wrong. Works nicely for Bass/Kayak fishing.
This thing is solid! Floats and when you land a fish I have no problem untangling the treble hooks if need be. The net is strong and I’ve even landed bull reds with it!!

Got my Lunker Snatcher Floating net today and let me tell you this net doesn’t weigh anything very well built handy wrist strap is a must very deep net for the big catches the rubber net is spot on no more lures snagging the net that means more fishing very light weight durable and the best thing about it it floats and also comes with a strap to clip on to your belt if wade Fishing or yak fishing it will always be right by your side.
