These are just excellent and saves hugh amounts of money. The can be cut to length and when used in combination with the Original FoodSaver Machine they will keep your food air free.
The muli-packs of the same size are more cost efficient if you are doing the same things over and over to freeze or just store. I do not use ANY other brand or so-called imitation type because they Do-Not-Work-As-Well. PERIOD .!!!

Perfect for larger items. Bought to sous vide a 12lb bone-in prime rib on Christmas and fit with room to spare. Only downside is the cost and they can be difficult to seal both due to getting the pleats lined up as well as the thickness of the added layers. I found that using the 'moist' setting and double-sealing worked perfect.
I did my standard "1 cup of dry oatmeal" test and this worked perfectly. No air re-entry at all. So I know this will work great for cooking "sous vide," where it's important for the food to stay submerged.
Been using Food Saver labels for many years. This "sixpac" with the heavier "plastic", 8"x20' rolls works well for me. All six were in the box. Some reviewers note that their delivery was a roll short and of a thinner plastic.
I have used these vacuum seal bags in my Foodsaver product for years. The bags are Great. They are tough. I have frozen steaks, burgers, chicken etc. in these bags up to a year with absolutely no freezer burn. Just take a bag out of the freezer and place in a bowl of water to thaw and when I open the bag the food is just as fresh as when it was first frozen.

Almost everything I put into my freezer gets vacuum sealed and Food Saver make the best. I have tried off brand sealing bags and they just don't compare. They are worth the price rather than have expensive meats get freezer burned.
Here in New Mexico, Aug and Sept are Chile months. We wait all year fresh green chile, and roast and freeze them for use during the rest of the year. We used to have to "double bag" to make sure that the seal was good.with these bags, it is only a single step, since the "dam" stops the juice from wrecking the seal. When doing over 100 bags, you can see how much time is saved. Granted these are a one shot deal as far as the bags go, but with chiles we do not reuse the bags any way.
Yes, it takes a bit more work to finesse these into the machine, but its worth it. I used these to sous vide an entire ham and it worked perfectly. Just follow the instructions, there is quite a bit of waste to get it to work, but in the end these are not for your typical everyday use.
This bags work great. The best thing I can use as an example is avocados or guacamole. When you use this product to store these the fruit does not turn brown. You can even put them in the freezer.
Best food storage bags out there. We buy in bulk and then divide the foods into serving sizes and seal it up to freeze. We rarely throw anything out anymore. It’s also nice to only thaw out just what we need for the meal. We like the rolls because then we can make the bags the size we need.
