I want an inexpensive and multi-functional stud finder to use around the house and found this one fits the bill. I like this one can show both the edge and center of stud. My only complaint is that this stud finder requires a 9V rectangular shape battery which is not included.
Bought this for my husband to use in our garage to find electric wires. So easy to use only 2 buttons to operate. We follow manual to chose correct mode and understand how it works. And absolutely no problem easy to understand.need 9v battery. Light weight and big enough display. Worth every penny no need expensive ones. Also can see battery life which Is handy .
Hubby broke this open to try right away, so much for a xmas gift. But it's good cause he luvs it. Works great
I recently purchased this stud finder for my personal use. It works great in scanning various areas. Easy to use and very accurate. I'm convinced of the 4 in 1 Anbes' value.
Received my machine in record time. Got my new 9 volt battery installed. Had to try it out. I have knotty pine paneling from 1944 on my wall. I put the finder on deep. It did a great job of finding the studs with the heavy paneling on the wall. Will give this product 4 thumbs up!

When calibrating, do not place the device directly on studs, intensive materials (such as metal) or wet or new painted areas.
Or it will not be calibrated correctly. If all parts of the middle LCD part are flashing, intermittent beeps when the activation button is pressed. Move the device to a different location, release the activation button and try to calibrate again.
- The detector does not detect the AC line from the shielded position.
- Before scanning, check if the thickness of the detected position is suitable for detection.
- Depth detection and edge detection may vary depending on the moisture content of the material, wall texture, paint, etc.
How to use an electronic stud finder detector?
Step 1: Install the 9v battery & choose the mode.
Step 2: Place the device flat on the wall. Then press and hold the button while keeping the unit still until calibration is complete (1-2 seconds). When calibration is complete, the unit will sound a short beep and the display bars will be cleared.
Step 3: While holding on the button, move it along the desired surface to scan.
Step 4 : When the stud finder detects an object, it will beep continually and will display on the LCD screen (if available).
The best wall scanner I have used! It clearly show the stud center. Would be nice to have a indicator light on the wall, works great.
You can choose the type of stud metal or wood and also know if there are active AC wiring in the wall.
Useful and inexpensive stud finder. I am using it to do my renovation in basement. It works great. I own it for about two months now, and it is still in a good working condition.

This wall scanner works very well. I was impressed with the sensitivity for a relatively inexpensive device. As long as you press the side button and allow it to calibrate in the area of use it can detect moderately deep-set items. As well as in buildings, I used it in a construction site with all power turned off, and it was able to locate the AC wire.
