What is wrong with me having used a dining room chair with my desk for YEARS!?!? I just bought an Ikea LÅNGFJÄLL, OFTAST chair and accidentally bought the wrong Rollerblade wheels. Found these and they're PERFECTO. Someone reviewed that they're so smooth your chair will roll away from you on a slight slope and I can TOTALLY see how that could happen. This chair is awesome for my lower back but the wheels make is SO much easier for me to maneuver around my office. I'm short, 5'4" and stumpy legs, but the height is not a problem. I've never felt so comfortable...these wheels make ALL the difference and I am confident they won't hurt my natural wood floors.
Easy pull out / push in installation. Fits the Ikea Markus chair as advertised. Glides much more quietly, and smoothly, even on tile. No complaints in the first five minutes, and seems to be just what I ordered.
Note: These wheels seem to be a bit taller than the stock wheels, so your chair will sit slightly higher. Shouldn't be an issue unless your chair is already at its lowest height setting and height is an issue.
I previously purchased another brand for my ikea chair and they were very hard to install and there was too much play in the wheels. These a very high quality. It took about a minute to install and there is no wheel play. I tried to order from the company I purchased these for my other chair but they don't make them to fit the ikea (10mm). These are the same quality. If you are looking for casters for your hardwood floor and need 10mm, do not hesitate to get these.
I didn't know that Ikea chairs took a different size stem until I was looking for other chair wheels on Amazon. After seeing that I decided to replace the wheels on a drafting type chair by Ikea that I'd found at Goodwill. I think the wheels cost me more than the chair did but made a major improvement in it's mobility. Most of my floors are non carpet so this makes scooting around very simple, no more fighting to change position or roll across the floor to get something from another place. I'm disabled so getting in and out of a chair isn't as easy as it used to be and this makes life a little easier for me. Good product, I recommend it for sure.
I can confirm that these wheels fit my IKEA Millberget office chair. I was a bit worried at first since the stock wheel stems were 10x20mm and the replacements were 10x22mm. After measuring the depth of the receptacle the wheel stems fit into I was more than confident that the Seddox wheels would fit. The replacement process was easy and the new wheels bring a new life into this chair. I can move around my office with ease. I recommend spraying some wd-40 in the bearings once in while as a preventative maintenance since the bearings are exposed. I also recommend keeping your old wheels just incase you want to sell or give away your chair in the future without having to give up your upgrade as well. These are a great and easy upgrade I had never thought of doing until now. Excellent work, Seddox. I will recommend you in the future.

First let me say that I LOVE my IKEA chair. I didn't think the original IKEA wheels would bother me that much. Wrong. They were driving me crazy and very distracting when I would try to move and couldn't because the wheels froze up. I'm sure some attorney somewhere told IKEA that they'd be sued if someone fell off their chairs because it moved, but those wheels were ridiculous. Anyway I found these wheels and they are fantastic. They roll smoothly, easily and silently. They are the wheels that IKEA should put on the chairs in the first place. Highly recommend.
I ordered these for my Ikea office chair that was about to cause some issues on my hardwood floors. I didn't want to place a mat down so I thought I would try these first, I'm so glad I did. I ordered them with free two-day shipping and they were actually delivered the next day (nice work Amazon!) The smaller 10mm stems fit wonderfully into the chair (Ikea Moses). The whole process of changing them out took maybe 5 minutes and required absolutely zero tools. They glide over my hardwood floors, no scratches, no marks, they're QUIET and they're ridiculously smooth, it takes very little effort to push my chair from one side of the room to the other, even with me still in it. They're perfect for my home office.
These are great for HW floors vs the hard casters that came with the chair. I have no doubt that these won't scratch the floor. Having only had these for a couple of weeks I can't speak to their lasting quality.
I removed one start because they roll too well which makes getting in/out of the chair difficult. Even scooting yourself up to the desk can be difficult at times. They need some resistance to them so they don't roll so well.
I got these because my old default casters were picking up on my microphone and these new ones are perfectly quiet. The fit works well for my Ikea chair as it said it would. I don't know, it's just really impressive how quiet my chair is at home now! They roll very easy and were easy to install, I'm pretty happy with these and recommended them as soon as I took a seat.
I bought these to replace the casters on a commercial office chair from the 90's. My shafts are 9.5mm and there are no good replacements for these old chairs. The Ikea size of 10mm is the closest I could find. I drilled out the holes on my chair to 10mm and tapped these in. They feel and work great. We were finally able to remove the ugly hardboard mat that was protecting our hardwood flooring.
