We had fun putting it together but it took me and my wife - working off and on time - from just before Thanksgiving until just after Christmas. Fifteen hundred pieces is more than we wanted but we really wanted this particular view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. I'd really recommend that unless you have a dedicated space that is large enough for both the outside border of the puzzle plus extra room to work on a couple of separate sections that you invest in a Puzzle Mates Portapuzzle that will hold a standard 1500 piece puzzle. We bought one on Amazon for $65, although you can get one for a thousand pieces for about half that much. But we plan to be putting more puzzle together, so the Portapuzzle is an investment that is totally worth it because it works perfectly as you'll see from the description. The Puzzle Mates Portapuzzle has a main section that was large enough to the whole puzzle and also opens up so that you can take two included half sections out and work of parts of the puzzle separately. Plus, when the folder is open you can spread the loose pieces out on the parts that close. Just don't start putting parts of the puzzle together on the pull over closing sections, for the simple reason that you won't be able to take advantage of being able to close up the puzzle if you're working sections of the puzzle on the parts that are for closing up and carrying.
This is how we did it: We put together the outside border of the puzzle in the center section. We then took the two removable sections and sat them on the closing flaps and worked smaller sections. When you're ready to close up the puzzle or move it you 1. sit the removable sections side by side on top of the center section, 2. close the flaps that protect the puzzle and prevent it from coming apart. 3. Pull the flaps tight together until they meet in the middle and use the velcro strap to as the first way of holding it together. 4. Finally you close two side velcro pieces that run the length of the folder. 5. If everything is closed tight so that you can't see any opening you can now pick up the Portapuzzle like a portfolio and carry it anywhere. We took the puzzle to the beach and back again without any of the pieces getting out of place.
High quality. Making me crazy. Sometimes I wonder about myself.
Addendum: Now that I have finished the puzzle and have discovered one piece to be missing, I am very sad to discover that this primo puzzle company doesn't seem to care. I've written to them hoping to replace the piece, but they have not responded. This was not the case with the Vermont Christmas Co. who DID express condolences and replaced two lost pieces. I guess my only recourse would be to buy a whole puzzle and sort through to find my missing piece. It's a gift to be glued and framed for one of my daughters, so I can't back out.
This was my first 1,500 piece puzzle, and it was the perfect level of difficulty. I usually do 1,000.
It was challenging, but in a good way. Fun. Not frustrating. It had a good amount of different scenes to work on if I got stuck on a certain one. All the pieces fit together perfect and when I tried to put two pieces together that weren't correct, it was always obvious that it wasn't right.
I literally became obsessed with this puzzle and put it together by myself in 6 days. It was fun and the result is beautiful. I am very pleased with myself!!! And unlike the experience of some people, all the pieces were here! There was some blue puzzle dust from the backing, but I havent found many puzzles that don't have dust.

Everything you are looking for in a puzzle. The pieces are well cut and fit unambiguously. The subject matter is interesting and ambiguous so it's not in any way a slam dunk.
One of my metrics is how many times during construction am I positive that there is a piece missing. What that means is that the pieces aren't completely obvious where they go, and the subject has an unexpected gradient with little surprises.
In this puzzle, there were 4 times I was sure something was missing.
There were, of course, none missing, it was just really hard to find the little guy until later.
I love that.
So, mission complete and I'm a happy camper. Enjoy!
Great jigsaw puzzle! Challenging in places, but not so difficult to be frustrating. Needs a large table as finished picture was 32.5" x 23.75". Usual Ravensburger quality - all the pieces fit together nicely and I didn't find any pieces that had not been cut properly. I would recommend this puzzle.

Excellent quality puzzle. The pieces are solid and well cut. The colours are sharp and saturated. 1500 pieces is Goldilocks of puzzles. 2000 pieces is overwhelming; 1000 pieces is too easy. Plus this particular image offered quite a variety of images. I plan to buy another edition from this producer.
My girlfriend had a puzzle on her birthday wish list, We've been to Paris and love it there so this seemed like the perfect puzzle for her birthday. She loved it. I had not put a puzzle together in a very long time and didn't think I'd have any interest in helping, but after walking by the table where the puzzle was being assembled, I saw a piece and knew where it belonged, and that's all it took to get me hooked back in.
The puzzle is high quality - all of the pieces are fully cut and not peeling. Most importantly, all the pieces were in the box, none missing. Difficulty level was just right - not super simple but not super difficult either.
Will definitely buy more Ravensburger puzzles in the future.
Great puzzle. But the layers of some pieces are not intact, not affecting the overall puzzle that much, just a little bend here and there, barely noticeable. And the blue base layer are kind of shredded so it's a little dirty. But again, not affecting the puzzle itself.
This was a properly difficult puzzle that was fun to build. Puzzles over 1000 pieces tend to get exponentially harder. A 1500 piece puzzle is probably twice as difficult as a 1000 piece, a 2000 piece being 4 times harder, etc. etc.
We have owned many Ravensburger puzzles (100 pcs to 5000 pcs) and purchased this for my 9 year old daughter. She and I worked together to complete it in 4 days. This was not as challenge as Ravensburger 1500 piece puzzle we have (Neuschwanstein castle in fall), and I suggest anyone who wants to start working on large puzzles. This puzzle pieces can be easily sorted by section (i.e., sky, Eiffel tower, buildings on the left and right, streets, flowers, etc.). The puzzle pieces fit and sit together well and picture quality is great.
