This umbrella is very sturdy and holds up well against the winds and rain in New York. My only complaint is that there is a visiable screw exposed on the handle that detracts from the beauty of the wood but this is only a cosmetic issue. I posted a picture of the screw for reference. It also has nice wind venting which I have taken a picture of as well. This helps the umprella from flipping inside out in the rain nicely.
Perfect semi-compact umbrella. It's super sturdy and the button opens and closes the umbrella. It's always a struggle when you have to manually close an umbrella esp getting into cars and end up getting wet cause you're trying to close your umbrella through the door. The material is good quality too and the price is awesome.
As a chronic loser of umbrellas, I was happy to find this one on sale. It more than meets my criteria for quality, portability, ease of use, and effectiveness, and even at full price would have been a bargain.

I have been looking for a wooden handle umbrella that was small enough to stick in my bag and I’m glad I found this one. The open close function works great, but I wish it was a little easier to depress the handle back down. I like that it came with a sleeve and wish that it had a handle to make carrying it a little easier when I have my hands full.

The umbrella is surprisingly well-made and sturdy. It rained very hard in rancho cucamonga last week (which was very rare) and this thing worked really well. Recommended!
