These are perfect for those places where you have only one wire and you need to add another camera( Beware you still need a standalone poe injector or a poe switch per camera) and / or any other type of network device to same location but cant run an extra cat5/6.
I have to say these are great adapters for security PoE network surveillance system, they have well-constructed RJ45 connectors in details, I use them for my new 8CH 1080P Samsung poe camera system,I just need to run 4 cat5 ethernet cables for these 8 cameras, the farthest cable I run is about 250ft away, the live video quality is no degradation, the most impressive detail is that those cat5 sharing adapters to camera side were premade the durable female RJ45 connector at splitter that perfectly extent the wiring for the 2nd camera, highly recommend!
As a network tech, I can say that I can report that this is the first RJ45 splitter that I came across that actually works and works with POE.
My test included 2 POE cameras, and POE switch. Was able to get them all connected and working across one cable run.
Would be good if you offered some kind of special on these like 8 pack and 12 pack.
