Experienced Audio/Visual Technician review:
So I was quite surprised when I saw how small these speakers actually were. They are typical computer speaker sized and don't take up much space. The aesthetic design matches my current computer setup so it's subjective to say that it looks pretty cool. One of the issues i had in terms of size was the actual length and quality of the cabling. The cabling length they indicated was 1.3 meters (4.27 ft) but did not indicate that it included the tether length to each speaker, and the volume control dongle. I was then restricted to about 2-3 ft left of the cabling to the usb/audio jack which is not enough to reach where my PC is, but is sufficient enough to where my monitor plug-ins are.
Sound wise, these things can pack a punch. They are actually quite powerful for uses in a medium to small room. They may be loud, but sound quality still does lack. The lows are the weakest especially since they marketed subwoofers being installed, but I may have expected too much from them thinking that they were powerful enough to shake a room. The mids is where most of the meat is and the highs are right where they should be.
Overall the balance of these speakers are fine. They certainly exceed what you may get at this price ($20 at time of writing) but won't completely satisfy the audio buffs that want more balance and control. Despite how I may sound in this review, these things are actually really great and I absolutely love them.
These speakers are pretty great! Sound quality is good for what I use them for. They were cheap & they look nice. I also like that there is no annoying light that shines all night when plugged in, or even when they are turned on.
My only issue is where the volume scroll switch is located. It is inconvenient for it to be attached to the cable the way it is. I feel it would have been much easier to access if it was just on one of the speakers themselves. The way it is now, sometimes the switch falls behind my desk & I can't get to it. I'm going to have to tape the mechanism somewhere so that doesn't keep happening.
The speakers are exactly as pictured but read the product dimensions and look at the review pics. They're smaller than you're picturing in your mind. If they were that big, they would cost more. That being said, these speakers are worth exactly what they cost. They wont blow the roof off but it's plenty loud enough to jam out in your room/office/etc. 4 stars is a realistic review. 5 is generous. I'm not keen on the logo placement so I put a sticker over one of them. If you spend $25 more, you probably won't regret it but these are great for portability and practicality. Goes great with a red/black battlestation setup too! (ignore the atrocious cable management)

These speakers are 20 dollars. How much bass can you really expect? That being said, I am still very impressed by the sound they put out. I don't really need to have thundering bass because I'm using these at work. They do have very crisp highs and good miidrange. They actually produce crisp, clear sound. Also very loud without distortion. Again, I am in a workplace so I can't blast them but I did test them and turn them up to about half volume at which point was far too loud. Overall, this is a very good buy. They sound much better than I would have expected 20 dollar speakers to sound.
I purchased this because I just needed something to play music at my work station at my work place. Keep in mind that I work in a warehouse so it's pretty loud (fork lifts, power tools, etc). After 2 weeks of use, it's still pretty good. The mid to high range frequencies are pretty good. I like it. But the low frequencies (bass) is horrible. lol. What's the point of showing off the 3 inch woofer if it doesn't even do that good at a job? It also has a tad bit of distortion while on stand-by (no music playing). But besides that, it's volume can be really loud and the mid and high frequencies are crisp clear. So, it's definitely worth the money if you're looking for speakers to play music. Not the best, but definitely worth the money.

I was very skeptical when I bought these speakers. Anytime I buy low price electronics I am become worried about its quality and reliability. When the speakers arrived, they were packaged neatly and upon plugging them in, they produced a descent sound with no background static. I was already satisfied with the speakers at this point. I then messed with my computer sound settings for about 15 minutes and now the speakers work amazingly. They actually have a descent amount of base to them and can be amplified quite a bit before they loose their clarity. So far I have been cranking loud music throughout the room with them and they have not failed. Definitely a good purchase.
these speakers are nice and flashy matching my red and black theme for my setup but the rubber on the sides to make them feel cheap but they are cheap so I don't really care about that the sound is what really matters and the sound is very good for a set of 20 dollar speakers. it can handle based music and it does not have that many sound imperfections. I heard one when the sound when high pitched because I was testing it but other than that is was fine but I am no audiophile. these speakers are nice and cheap and I would recommend them.
So I had been using the built in speakers on my monitor...yeah ew, or using my gaming headset, which honestly I don't like wearing when I am not talking. I needed something cheap and loud from my desk. FIRST OFF THERE IS A SLIDER ON THE CORD, BE SURE YOU TURN IT UP OR THERE WON'T BE ANY SOUND AND YOU WILL CUSS IN FRONT OF YOUR KIDS!!. The sound isn't perfect but its certainly serviceable. They can get plenty loud, the build quality is quit good and they look pretty good. (See picture, they aren't very big, in fact they are quit small but they really do pump pump out the sound). So a solid 4/5 in my book, for $20 dollars they exceeded my expectations. Only beef is the cord could be longer, but you can always get cheap extensions of that's a problem.
WOW! My Work PC is some HP ProDesk with only a little internal speaker listening to News, or Radio has always been an issue especially since I work in a loud industry.
These are fantastic, I was worried at first the wouldn't be loud enough only being powered by usb..... BOY was i wrong!!!
The once super low sound coming from my pc is gone, these things really boosted the sound by about 350% and added some nice needed bass boom!!! Super Sexy speaker for $20!
I had a much more expensive speaker system with subwoofer. I could never make out what people were saying when I watched movies. The speakers got knocked over by the cat once or twice and that was that, same with the subwoofer. These little speakers are amazing! Great clarity for watching videos on the computer! They are amazing for $20. Lots of bang for your buck and no glowing lights in your eyes either!
