This set is fun and my son loves it. He's almost 7, so probably a bit above the target age for this toy, but he still likes to pretend a lot, and we homeschool so he has plenty of time for creative play. He really liked that the pieces have velcro so he can pretend to cut them - the velcro sticks really well so he actually has to push to "cut" the fruit. Your child will need some dexterity to do it - maybe at least 5? The set comes in a clear plastic backpack and it all fits back in easily - not one of things where only the robots at the factory can fit it all in there :)
My daughter is crazy about cutting vegetables and fruits! She learnt it from YouTube! When I bring it home! She is so excited! One week gone, she still cut food for me to eat when I come back from work! It is really a great toy! Kids can learn color, learn food and how cut it!
It's very interesting for kids and no smell. My son like to cook food for me !
We didnt have some cutting toys, I bought this for my 3yrs girl, she so loves it. And also this toys have no smelly, safety for little kids.
Not only I love it, the more important is, my kid loves it! I bought this for my daughter, since she is a girl, she loves playing with this "kitchen plays". Now she can has her own knife, pizza, fruits and veggies to cut and play with! There is even a cutting board and a serving plate!
It's so colorful and have lots of varieties in the veggies and fruits, all pieces are large enough that she can't put it in completely and swallow it, even she wants to... so it is kinda kid-safe toy!

My son LOVES this set. He plays with it every day. They are a little light, not a dense plastic, but my son has dropped these on concrete so many times and there has been no damage. He loves to use these to feed his stuffed animals and dinosaurs. They're small and easy to carry as well, but not too small.
It is a value pack that comes with multiple pieces. And it comes with a bag , easy to storge. My baby girl likes it so much. She is having a lot of fun with this toy . And in my opinion, this is a perfect toy for toddlers . They can learn the name of fruit
I bought this on a whim, as it was on a lightning deal. I bought it as a gift from Santa for this Christmas thinking that it would be one of those filler gifts. To my surprise my toddler really love this toy. The size of the food is okay. But my only warnings are there are some of the fruit like the watermelon that has sharp edges, whereas some of the other fruit had smoother rounded edges. You are not going to cut yourself just by touching it, but you might cut your finger if you run it along the edge of those fruit pieces fast enough (like a paper cut). The cutting board and knife are too small compared to the foods you are given. Also the Velcro on the foods are super strong, so I always have to help my toddler “cut” them foods. But overall good by, would by again.
Keeps my toddler happily occupied. He enjoys cutting/pulling apart the little foods, lining them up and matching them. The cutting board is cute, it's smooth plastic so not really useable as a cutting surface, we just put the toys right on the carpet. The knife is not very sturdy but it serves its purpose to help little ones work on their dexterity and muscle memory; it just requires pushing a little harder through the velcro. It's a great toy for a great price!
For the count and quality, I've found this to be superior to other play food. Kids love the cutting noise the Velcro makes. Be sure to undo all the pieces and press firmly in the Velcro patches that are just light adhesive on the back before you let the kids play. Shouldn't have a problem with the patches coming off after that. Your kids will saw and saw on this food. My 2 year old will stay quiet for 2 hours!!
