These trimmers are great. I thought for sure that my cat was going to run from me. When my fiance turn on his razor all the cats scramble. This one is mellow enough that the cats actually stay calm. My cat just layed there and let me trim out his mats and around his booty. I'm surprised at how well my cats are handling this trimmer.
I bought this so I could shave my longhair cat post enema procedure (which is incredibly messy). He HATES baths and using a damp cloth just wasn't working. I charged it up, let him smell it, brushed him with the comb-like blades so he could get used to the feel of it, and then turned it on. He didn't jump, run, or get fussy - the sound is definitely "low noise". It took me a bit to figure out the best way to shave through his matted fur, but once I got going, it was a breeze. He looks ridiculous, but smells a million times better. So glad I purchased the clippers!
We have a long hair cat who needs a "sanitary trim" every few weeks. We have been using scissors, but were always afraid of nicking this sweet cat. We purchased this trimmer and could not be happier. Trimming my dog has always been a problem. I got a clipper months ago liked it then gave it to my mother for her dog. It is always good to try on different brands I guess. This one turn out as good as the last one.

Works great for our long hair cat. I found that wipes didn't work very well. These clippers work great. They are quite enough that she doesn't get scared and the cord free factor is wonderful.
I have a small poodle, I thought it will be difficult to groom, but so far I had no issues with his tangles hair. My dog didn’t mind getting his hair cut.

Was awesome for two dogs - but I have three. The third dog didn’t get a hair cut because these quit working correctly.
After th company saw my review, they sent another pair of clippers. I have used them to clip the third dog that the first pair gave out on and these are working better. The company has checked to see if I’m satisfied which says a lot for them. I am very pleased with the customer service - beyond normal contact. And I’m very glad to say these worked better
