The best part about this BBT is the backlight. Its impossible to see when you're laying in bed trying not to move much to get an accurate reading without one. It has a soft tip which is nice for comfort. The only thing I wish I could change was how long it takes. A full 90 seconds in your mouth is kind of a pain. Regardless, it remembers your temp when you go back to chart it later (and are more awake lol). But I would recommend this thermometer to fellow charters. Thanks!
I bought this after a long search to replace a
different bbt thermometer that quit after 7 months. I like the backlight, soft beeping, and large screen. It sometimes takes up to 90 seconds for the temperature to read, but that's normal for bbt thermometers. I also like that I have the option to change the battery. You do have to hold it in your mouth because the end has some weight to it, but I don't mind. So far it's exactly what I was looking for!
My wife had been monitoring her fertility for nine years with a normal digital thermometer. Hers died so I found this on Amazon. She loves it! The light is nice and she loves the readout to the hundredths. Very satisfied. Shipping and packaging we're great, too.

I had originally gotten a different thermometer but my dogs chewed it up, and decided to get this one instead and I’m really glad I did!
I really like that it has a back light so I can read it in the dark. I like that it remembers the last 30 temperatures in case I fall back asleep and need to look back. And I love how it’s still accurate even though it’s faster. My last one would take such a long time to give me the result but this one only takes about 90 seconds! If it were to get chewed up I would buy it again!
Takes a bit long to get temp and it is a little hard to hold in mouth because the other end is so much heavier than the part that goes in mouth which is rubber. I do like the light.
effective, just takes a loooong time to load. the full 90 sec, which seems like forever when you are sleepy and doing it before you get up for most accuarate basal temp (natural family planning)
Simple device, nothing fancy. Does what its supposed to do.
In my opinion it takes quite a while to get a reading, but this is the only basal thermometer I’ve ever used to it might be normal time. It’s hard to tell if it’s actually reading when you use it in the dark, but overall easy to use. The numbers are big with a back lit screen which makes it easier to read before my glasses or contacts are on.
