Ordered this on a whim because I'm always wanted better cable management, but never really wanted to put in the effort. The set came, and I'm pretty happy with it. As another reviewer said, it would have been useful to have a bunch of single cable holder things instead of only multiple ones. Another thing I thought while using the sleeves was that it would be useful to have holds spaced out in the middle that you could have cords that go in other directions early and whatnot--- but this is possibly due to my inexperience using these. I included a before and a couple of after pics above.
This was literally my first attempt at any sort of cable management, and the results aren't perfect by any means, but I had quite a lot of cables running in several different directions, so I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out--- hopefully I can do better next time though. I've got plenty of cable ties and rubber holders and stuff left over that I will use around the house. One other thing that I felt would be beneficial for this cable management setup would be a power strip box, but that's kind of circumstantial whereas the cable ties and rubber notches and zip sleeves are pretty much universal. I myself will probably get a power strip box as well. I would recommend this set.
This kit was perfect for my needs. The ability of the sleeves to clip together for longer runs of cables is great. The velcro straps are a bit long for most applications, so it would be nice to have some shorter ones. The cable guide sticky things are incredibly useful, though I found that I wanted more of the single ones. The sleeves are very helpful.
My desktop computer comes with many wires. Power, monitors, keyboard, mice, cables, phone and ipad charging cables. All of these should be organized. This set of cable management is good for all cables. It will make the room clean and neat. Not more mess. Good price too.
