Unisex Baby Cloth Pocket Diapers 7 Pack, 7 Bamboo Inserts, 1 Wet Bag by Nora's Nursery

Don't be fooled by the low price- these are some of the best cloth diapers on the market! They work WAY better for us than Charlie Banana, even though those cost twice as much. I've tried many brands, and these are some of the best. A few things to note:
-They were too big for my baby until he reached about 12 pounds.
-Buy an extra set of inserts to double up at night.
-They dry quickly in the dryer, even though I use a low heat setting as recommended by the manufacturer. They wash up beautifully!
-I purchased a large variety of diapers to try out, but after experimenting I can say that my perfect stash would consist of 2 sets of Nora's Nursery diapers (with extra inserts) and 15 Bum Genius Freetime for when baby hasn't grown into the Nora's yet and when you don't feel like stuffing pockets. I have a rather chunky, heavy-wetting boy in case that helps anyone who is looking to create a good cloth setup.

Well, here is a diaper that is over 2 years old. I was one of the first to try these diapers. I've since potty trained that baby, and my 6 month old is enjoying these. I have a variety of brands: applecheeks, bum genius, grovia, kawaii and these ones. The bum genius (which is easily triple the price) and these ones have held their worth and still look fabulous. They're right up there with the best and most expensive brand on the market.

I especially love the bamboo inserts. It's pretty impressive how much Urine it can actually hold.

My newborn has been wearing these since she was about 3 weeks old. They're not perfect for newborns. But I have yet to find a cloth diaper that is. That umbilical stump makes it difficult.

Anyway, hands down, they're my favorite. Cutest prints. Wonderful family who runs this too. It feels good supporting lovely people. :)

I have waited to write this review so the information is more than just my first impression. I purchased 3 brands of cloth diapers ( in the same price range as Nora's) and also used disposable while on vacation. DD blowout in everything she wore for about a month so I think rating a diaper on weather or not your baby blew out is illegitimate. The things about Nora's that out rank the other brands I tried are as follows:
1) the inserts are very absorbent after 4-5 washes. More absorbent than the usual microfiber ones in other brands.
2) I get sandpaper dry hands in the winter and handling Nora's inserts are amazing because they don't stick to my dry hand and make putting them into the diaper a pain.
3) they are sewn very well and I have confidence in the stitching.
4) the wet bag that came with it has been perfect for day trips and I have not had a problem with it leaking. It seems to hold the smell in just fine.

These diapers have gotten damp through the stitching around the legs but not as bad as the other brands. I think the material is better because of that.
Hope this was helpful!

I was looking at their website and noticed there were not any reviews from men, so here's my crack at it.

Right out of the box the diapers were light in the hand and i liked the fabric lining better than some other brands, the tighter weave makes it feel slightly more like a raincoat and while it probably isn't any more or less waterproof the slick smooth fabric sells the idea that it is waterproof. The snaps have clear positive clicking, and they feel secure. The buttons are manufactured by Dongguan Fu-ming and several shifts and batches are present on each diaper. I like this because I know where these are from and where to get them if they break. The batch number is clearly printed on the diaper's tag. I like that the stitching around the exterior is consistent and clean with only one typical wrinkle on the left wing adjacent to the branding, and a tighter stitch where the elastic is first attached. The liner insert location is also better because i don't have to lift a soaking poo covered flap to get the liner out. My son doesn't complain any more or less when he's wearing them. I like the patterns because they're nice and slightly muted.

I wish they could be made in America, or Canada, New Zealand, Australia etc. but I like that they were affordable for me to buy as a single income carpenter in winter.

These are nice pocket diapers. I am a few months into my cloth diapering journey and they are holding up really well. I prefer these over my BumGenius pockets for 2 reasons (a) the "pocket" part of these diapers is elastic and at the very edge of the diaper making it easy to stuff and forget about (BG pockets have a cloth "flap" which I am always struggling to get 'closed') and (b) the microfiber insert on these diapers is not rough and doesn't stick to your hands like BG microfiber inserts.

That being said, the microfiber inserts hardly absorb enough for a 1 month old for two hours. I pair the included inserts with a bamboo insert as a "booster." With both inserts, I can go about 3 hours between changes for my 4 month old son. This is no different from any other brand that comes with a microfiber-only insert.

Overall, these are good diapers that I would definitely purchase again. Just make sure you have another insert to pair with it so you get better absorbency.

Update: I have been using these diapers daily for over a year now and they are still holding up well. The elastics are still in very good condition. I am also still using the wet bag. The stitching along the back of some of the diapers started to come apart exposing the back elastic. I just sewed it closed again and they are back to perfect.

Updated Review 6-22-16

I did not receive this item at a discount and after reading several really great reviews I decided to purchase the product at full price. I was significantly disappointed when each of my diapers leaked significantly, I was even more disappointed when I placed some food coloring in water and tested each of the diapers and every single one of them wicked moisture through the thread. The diapers looked really great, but performed horribly. I cut my losses, left my review, and went about my day. This seller contacted me directly and reminded me about the 100% guarantee of the product and after speaking with the seller I decided to try another set. They not only listened to my concerns but claimed to implement them into their production. A few weeks later I received an entirely new set of diapers and diaper bag. After testing out the diapers I'm very happy to update my review.

Wet bag: It's cute. I had some issues with the first one falling apart in the wash, and other comments have complained about smell so I've decided to use it mostly as a dry bag. It holds about 7 prepped dry diapers (4-5 dirty ones) and has an additional pocket on the front perfect for storing my cloth wipes. It's nice to have along when I need to leave the house. If you plan to use the bag as a wet bag it only has an elastic band as a handle (As opposed to several other wet bags that have more of a sturdier handle) so don't overload the bag or you'll see an increase in wear and tear.) If you do stuff the bag to the brim, maybe place it somewhere safe instead of hanging it from the handle.

Inserts: No great improvement here. They absorb hold slightly better than microfiber, but they're slim and should be doubled up if you have a child older than 3 months or so. If you're not planning on leaving the house and change your child frequently this is not a problem. If this is not the case I would recommend upgrading to some better inserts. I don't mind these inserts when I know I'll be on top of diaper changes, but I stay away the second I'm going to strap her into a car seat because of compression leaks.

The diapers: This is the main area of improvement, and if these were the only thing in the set I would give the overall product 5 stars. The difference is close to night and day. After I received the new batch I washed and line dried the diapers and put them to the test. I tested the food coloring first. Every single diaper passed. With the last set wicking through the thread was evident almost immediately. No wicking was noticeable even after several minutes which was fantastic news. They did add a large Nora's Nursery tag on the back of the diapers that wicked pretty badly before the initial wash and dry but that issue was drastically reduced after the first wash (Which is completely normal for cloth diapers) Although if you let it sit with moisture on it, the tag will still wick a little bit but I don't see this as an overall problem unless you're using the diaper for overnight and really don't change the diaper for 12 hours.
These diapers also work great as diaper covers to prefolds. They fit over the prefolds nicely and the prefold allows for significantly higher absorbency compared to inserts.

Overall, I'm incredibly satisfied with my replacement diapers. If you've purchased the diapers and feel as though they aren't up to quality contact the company. They have amazing customer service and stand behind their product making this a truly safe buy. I'm impressed enough with my set that I've considered purchasing a second set. I've left my original review so that you can see what an improvement these diapers really are.

Original Review:
Cloth diapers:
These are cute diapers that provide the additional snaps to secure the diaper around the thighs of the baby well. However, these are cloth diapers. Their primary goal is to keep moisture in the diaper. The threading of the diaper wicks moisture through the diaper very quickly. It's difficult to see sometimes because the outside of the diaper doesn't change colors when wet, but it is very noticeable when the diaper was soiled. I've attached a picture to demonstrate the wicking through the diaper. This only took 5 minutes, as I was waiting for her to finish, so the diapers are basically useless to me.
With the price of these diapers, you can still spend less money and get a much better diaper that doesn't leak and comes with a better insert.

The wet bag:
The sewing was not that great and after a few washes the seams started to fall apart. This was particularly bad near the zipper and I am unable to easily open and close the bag anymore because of fraying. When fully functional it holds about 4 soiled diapers, so it was perfect for small trips out of the house.

Inserts:
inserts provide quick absorbency however work like a sponge. They'll absorb it quickly but if baby puts any pressure on them it squeezes right back out. I've had a ton of issues with leaking in these diapers.

These diapers and liners are seriously amazing. I ordered a few Alva diapers, and these are FAR superior to those. I ordered two sets of these to start with, and just ordered a third.

First, these hold urine. A LOT OF URINE. I know that one issue people have is that they can't put their babies in cloth overnight, because they leak. My daughter will wear the same one of these all night and will NOT LEAK. Some of the diapers have been used more than others, and the liners that have been washed more are more absorbent.

Second, the patterns are adorable, and the inner and outer liner of the diaper is SO SOFT, and I believe my daughter is much more comfortable in these than disposables.

Speaking of disposables, there is a component of most disposables that make my daughter's rear end light up like a Christmas tree. The only disposables that we can use are Honest Company, Seventh Generation and Parasol diapers. These are SO much cheaper than those. The amount of money I am saving is crazy.

Seriously Nora's Nursery, you guys are awsome and you have yourself a loyal customer with me.

These are the absolute best diapers you will ever buy! I have several different brands of cloth diapers I have bumGenius I have thirsties I have happy heinys I have lots of cloth diapers and these are by far the best cloth diaper I've ever used. this is my second time cloth diapering. I cloth diapered with my first child who's now 5 years old I am now cloth diapering with my second child a boy who is 5 months old. These cloth diapers I have not leaked and my boy is a heavy heavy wetter. Every morning he would wake up wet through his clothes no matter what I did unless I put in multiple inserts. With the Nora's Nursery cloth diapers I do not have to do put more than one bamboo insert in and he is in dry clothes in the morning when he wakes up. They wash up easy, they don't stain so far they are wonderful wonderful cloth diapers. I wish I had at least a dozen more; such a great company. also, they are freaking adorable!!

Cloth diapering has been a great money saving experience for my husband and I...These are wonderful & super cute cloth diapers, we have 21 of these diapers (+6 more from a separate brand, 50 washable wipes, and 10 additional liners) to cloth diaper our son. Used faithfully for an entire year! The wet bags the diapers came with came in very handy for out of town trips/on the go. Of the 21 Nora's nursery diapers we have, only 1 has some loose stitching where you insert the liner (likely due to everyday use/force of insertion and not manufacture problem).

These fit my son from our first day at home, and they fit him now 1 year later. We purchased 10 xtra liners that we haven't needed until bedtime now that he's bigger. We're hoping to potty train him before he gets on his last snaps, which he still has room to grow into.

Investing a couple hundred in cloth diapers before having your baby can save you THOUSANDS of dollars in disposable diapering. We're happy we did, and so are our wallets, and local landfill ;-)

These are perfectly good covers! I bought these to try as a cloth diapering newb, since the price was competitive and they advertised a money-back guarantee. For comparison, I also have one Alvababy pocket, one Happy Flute, one Best Bottoms, and two Rumparooz.

During the day, I place the diapers on top, rather than stuffing the pocket, so I can reuse the cover. Then at night, I stuff the pocket we've already used a few times, and lay an additional pad fold or origami flat inside for extra absorption.

I really like that the rise lies flat on these, and they fit my boy perfectly. (He's not super chunky or super lean... a little chub on the thigh, but mostly long.) I've washed them maybe 5 or 6 times now (cold water rinse, then hot water heavy duty wash) and line-dried, and they're holding up perfectly. We have so few leaks with these compared to disposables!

The Nora's covers aren't as trim as the Best Bottom and Rumparooz. For daytime, I prefer the wipeable covers without pockets. But these are a fantastic part of our collection for the money! Very happy I bought them.
