I love this jacket for what it is, a THIN COVERUP for light drizzle type rain, not for a constant heavy rain or cold. I bought a medium. I am 5' 4" tall and weigh 135 lbs. The jacket fits nicely over a sweater or sweatshirt. It's a layer and is not going to keep you warm. The sleeves are long and straight, which I didn't like. I like fitted cuffs to keep the sleeve in place and wet out, so I sewed elastic into the cuffs. Took all of 30 mins and wala tight fitting cuffs. I included a picture, again the sleeves come straight. I did the modification to add the elastic, it didn't come with it! I included pictures to try and show what you get. It's thin nylon and has kept the wet off me for quick trips outside in the yard or a run to the store. It will soak through if in the rain long enough. It has a generous hood you can tighten with these funky slide tabs, which I can see falling off, so I'll just knot the string. The tails don't hang down once you tighten them with the same funky tabs as the hood. I plan on them falling off & will just knot the string. The tails tighten up to hug your bum, so they don't have to hang unless thats what you want. The jacket has an Empire elastic waist, which I wasn't sure I would like. It turns out I do as it is one less thing bunching at my waist, remember layers, unless it's warm rain. I bought it to go with the Norty Women's Hurricane Wellie gloss Hi-calf black & white dot rain boots, which I also love. The set is adorable! You can roll this jacket up small, see pictures. Would be a nice emergency jacket for the car if caught in an unexpected drizzle.

I ordered the black leopard rain jacket. It’s a mix of black, white, and greys which goes with everything. This jacket is very lightweight and the material is thin. I really like how lightweight it is. Just because it’s raining doesn’t mean that it’s going to be cold so this jacket is perfect for year around. With it being thin, I am able to wear this over heavier clothing like sweatshirts when it is cold outside. It’s also easy to fold up and throw in a bag because it doesn’t take up much space. I can even throw it in my purse which is really nice.

The jacket closes by a black plastic zipper that goes up to the neck. It’s a thicker zipper and is very durable. The metal pull glides across the zipper nicely. I have not experienced any problems with the zipper. I really love the waistline of this jacket. Some jackets are bulky and leave you looking bigger than you actually are. This jacket has a hidden pull around it so you can tighten the waistline. This gives you a curvier appearance all the way around. This is definitely my favorite part of the jacket. With the strings on both sides, you can tie them together or simply leave them hanging. The neckline also have the same type of stings so you can tighten the hood. There’s also two pockets on the front of the jacket. Each pocket has a flap closure.

The backside is a little longer than the front. It has a split in the bottom. The only thing I can think of is maybe this allows you to sit down without the jacket being too restricting around your legs. I’m not a huge fan of it but it’s not extremely bad either. The jacket seems to fit true to size. I ordered and XL just to be safe but I believe I could fit either the L or XL just depending on how I want it to fit. I mostly wear oversized clothes so I think the XL was the right choice for me.

Measurements for XL

Chest: 27” wide

Waist: 23.5” wide (adjustable)

Sleeve Length: 26” long

Overall Length Front: 32” long

Overall Length Back: 37.5” at longest point

I really love this rain jacket. The material is really nice, lightweight, and comfortable. It seems to be made extremely well. All the seams are perfect and everything is straight. I think the design and colors are fashionable. However I’m not too sure about the split on the backside but that’s just something minor. I believe that’s more for comfortable than fashion. I would definitely recommend this leopard print rain jacket. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I am happy with this raincoat for the price. I give it 4.5 stars. The reason I took off half a star is because the one I bought (navy blue polka dot) did not have an adjustable drawstring waist. It has elastic in the waist which gives it some shape, but you cannot adjust it like the other lady did in her picture and review. She bought a different design. Also, although the drawstring hood is nice so it can be tightened around the face, it does not quite extend far enough over the front hairline at the forehead. I find this is often the case with hoodies and I don't know why it's so hard to get that right. I want my entire head covered so that none of my hair gets wet, especially not the hairline. But oh well. The jacket is very cute and comfortable and good for rainy days when it isn't actually cold & you just need rain coverage. I wear a size 10 but bought an XL and it fit great with a light sweater under it. Probably would fit a heavy sweater under it also. It protected me from the rain. I was not in a downpour but a steady rain and when I took it off my clothes underneath were not wet or damp at all. I would recommend it and buy it again. I mostly just wish the hood went a little further forward to provide complete head coverage. If you have a smaller head, or don't have thick hair, it shouldn't be an issue.

Cute, easy fit I was afraid that this would be way too large by the measuremen as I usually wear a small. I am 5'7" with long arms and legs. I love leopard print and tried it anyway because of this. To my surprise It is very adjustable due to the empire waistpull. As the fabric is so light, it does not look bulky or big and would adjust for wearing a sweater or jacket under for warmth.
I read lots of reviews and saw issues with the cut, the weight, the styling. I find them all to be wrong. I own many anoraks and this is a simple classic forward anorak cut. Long in back is great so your seat does not get wet. Split in back stops it from gathering up when you sit. Empire waist more flattering and comfortable and updated. At the price this is a perfect travel rain jacket. It isuper light and foldable and not too hot for Mexico if it showers. I wear a warmer jacket with this over to fly, then use this if it showers or in wind. Fits easily in pack or purse. Silly to some d more, this works on every level. If you are out in a monsoon, of course this will not work. It is light mans not meant for a major storm!

I was looking for a light jacket to match just about everything I own. If you do not want to read this all, I will break down pros and cons. I have LOTS of polka dots! Looking at this coat, it seemed that it would be the perfect match. I did order a size XXL since I have a 42 bust and larger hips. It fits wonderfully! There is no pull string for the waist, rather a fitted elastic band. I like how the elastic just hugs my curves without too much hug. I can still move and function normally. The hood is not detachable, and that it fine with me because I would probably lose it if it did. My biggest complaint is the pulls that hang from the lower split panel in back. They have no real functional value! I am going to cut them out.

Pros:
Lightweight
Cute
Strong Zipper
Figure friendly

Cons:
Pull Ties in back

Needed a rain coat that was lightweight and had a hood. After searching Amazon, I came across a few, but narrowed down to this one. This design was advertised for nearly $15 more somewhere else, so this was the better deal. I'm 5'3", 108 lbs, and I ordered a small. I used the measurement guide, and based on that, I knew that the sleeves and chest area would be a little too big for me. This is fine, since I prefer longer sleeves (these go to my knuckles) and I can wear bulky clothes under this with no trouble. The material seems very waterproof - It almost reminds me of those rain ponchos you get at amusement parks. That being said, yes, it's thin and does wrinkle easily, but honestly, all I'm asking for is to be covered in a downpour. The length is very nice; it extends down to my mid-thighs, and the longer backside is a plus. The hood covered my head and didn't fall down, even when I wore my hair in a top bun. I gave it a 4/5 stars, because the zipper is cheap and a bit of a pain to zip up if you don't catch it just right. Also, I wish the sleeves had elastic built into them (my plan is to sew some in). Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

This rain jacket was exactly what I needed. It's VERY affordable and actually waterPROOF! (Not water resistant). It's thin enough to wear it in the summer and loose enough to wear a winter jacket under in the cold months. The hood is huge and you can tighten it around your entire face! It's long enough to cover your bottom and you can tighten at the bottom as well! The sleeves are long and reach my fingertips. I got a small and I'm 5'7" 145lbs. There are 2 front pockets with flaps. You can wad it up to the size of a softball - it fits in the smallest pocket of my backpack.
I bought this after it monsooned while I was walking to classes on campus from the results of a hurricane. My umbrella was no good at all because of the wind. I immediately got online and ordered the cheapest, hooded, waterproof jacket I could find (because I'm a broke college student). I rush delivered it because it was about to monsooned again from that same hurricane two days later. My hair, face and everything from my bottom up stayed dry all day. I was so happy! I looked like a sad wet dog before.

Great jacket, exactly as described. zipper gets a little tricky because it always tries to zip up the little liner flap behind it so you really have to be careful to keep it separate. Only other negative is sleeves seem short. I'm 6' and ordered an xl based on other reviews and it is plenty big enough to wear sweaters underneath but when i bend my arms the sleeves pull up a few inches above my wrists. When arms are flat at my sides sleeves go right to my wrist and it is okay. Note: I am in southern california so i haven't tested this in extreme rain, it absolutely did it's job in "regular" rain the few times i've tried it.

Lightweight but works well in the rain. Easy to roll up and tuck in purse when not being used.
