This product is the real deal! Its main ingredients are L-Citrulline to boost nitric oxide production, caffeine, Astragin to enhance absorption of amino acids and fermented bcaa's. This is the first time I've seen "fermented bcaa" on an ingredient label, so I looked into it. What I found was that the majority of bcaa's out there are extracted from animal products using a simple, low cost manufacturing process involving concentrated acids at high temperatures. The end product has to be filtered and reprocessed for human consumption. Extracting bcaa's through fermentation is a more involved -and expensive- process, but yields higher quality aminos without the use of harsh chemicals, eliminating allergens and other inpurities from the product.
As far as the taste, it's great!!! Although you can tell it really is a bcaa product by the smell (my ONLY knock against this product) lol, they figured out a way to eliminate it altogether from the taste.
I've been using it for about a week with my crossfit workouts and its been doing a great job keeping me in the game! We usually do some olympic weightlifting drills or strength exercises (squats, deadlifts. Etc.) before the main workout of the day (WOD). I'm usually pretty spent by that time and I've tried stimulant-based pre workouts to help get me over that hump, but most of the time end up feeling worse afterwards. Drinking INTRASURGE throughout the drills and strength portion of the workouts had me feeling like I still had enough gas in the tank to go hard on the main workout! I go through phases of deciding to retry workout supplements, even though most of my experiences have been subpar to say the least. This is definitely not the case with this product. Although it’s an “intra-workout” I used it as a pre and absolutely love it. It helps give just enough energy to push a little harder a little longer without making me feel like I'm actively on drugs.
This is another great offering from JF. Getting started with a workout is one thing, keeping it going is another. Some days I run out of steam and cut my workout shorter than I probably should. Taking this about 30-40 minutes into my workout definitely helps with some added energy and willpower to continue on. It is also great for recovery, I feel great the day after workouts and I feel it reduces soreness time. Taste and mixability are great too.
I am a HUGE fan of Intrasurge. I train fasted, so I consume BCAAs both before and during my workouts. Since Intrasurge has 5g of BCAAs, I no longer need to combine multiple supplements to make my intra-workout drink. It's been a time and money saver.
I was worried about stacking Intrasurge's 125mg of caffeine with the 270-300mg from my preworkout drink, but they work very well together--sustained energy and no crash. In addition, it tastes great and mixes well. All we need is a few additional flavors and we have a definite winner.
I've now had enough time to use IntraSurge that I now feel like I can give it a decent review. This is an all-around great product. The results are FANTASTIC. I was getting really sore for the longest time, but now my soreness is nonexistent, my workouts can last longer (endurance), my muscles themselves are harder/more defined, and I am just stronger in general. It provides a calm but steady energy for my workouts (weights 4-5 times a week). I usually rely on pre-workouts (nitrosurge shred is one of my favorites) for that jumpstart so this was different for me. The flavor is also pretty good - like fruit flavored candy but not overly sweet.
Most of my workouts are HIIT and they are very demanding. Having Intrasurge throughout the workout helps tremendously to keep pushing through and I have found that I am able to do more(reps, weights, etc) each and every time. This has taken my routine to the next level! Awesome product
Another great product in Jacked Factory's vast line of supps. This one is a great overall energy supplement. Ive used it on bike rides, lifting days, martial arts training, and everything in between. Im used to stronger preworkouts but this is great and versatile for many workouts. Taste is good, a little sweet but a tolerable sweetness. Was impressed at the end of my workout on intrasurge.
I loves that it works and keeps me focused enough during my workouts. No tingles.
I dislike the white flakes that sits at the bottom of the blender bottle, no matter how long you shake that thing.
The flavor is alright, nothing special.
