I like the construction and the overall appearance of the HDbest Kitchen Sink Strainer
This strainer is not just for sinks. It fits perfectly inside my shower. The inside measurements of the shower pipe opening is 3". The strainer fits will inside the opening and the rim fits outside the opening. Plus, the rim is flat and the item is sturdy.
Fit and strain very well. Seem well made for such an inexpensive item. Would/will buy again and recommend.
Don't buy these. Once you use them, you will want them on all sinks you work over. It is unbelievable how many fine food particles go down your sink. We have a septic tank and I wanted to reduce the material going into it. I thought this was over kill, but it's super easy to install and use. After one weekend of use, I am a believer. I cannot tell you how much stuff this trapped and I am always careful what I put in my sink.
Fits perfectly. This is the best one I have had so far. I always keep these types of strainers in the sink to avoid expensive plumbers bills. The last one i ordered had an extremely long basket part and did not fit properly so all of the food would go underneath the edge and go down the drain anyway. This one fits perfectly and catches all of the stuff so it doesn't clog up the drain.
