I don't know how this works as a bath mat yet because it is so incredibly soft that my cat hasn't left it since I removed it from the package! Lol I may have to purchase a second. ;-)
I was skeptical at first after reading two reviews about the mat being not very absorbent. However, I am perfectly okay with the absorbency performance. These types of mats aren't meant to be placed directly on to the shower floor! I find these mats dry pretty quickly after I use them. Another piece of advise: Be sure that your shower heads are perfectly aimed into the tub area and not anywhere near or on the mat; if you drench the mat up it'll take a while to dry, if you use it responsibly, you'll have zero to none problems! Its a week now that I am enjoying this mat and loving it each and every time I shower. I've also put it through the washer machine today for the second time and it seems to hold up pretty nicely. Can I give it 10 starts? Thanks!!!
Why aren't all floors made with this material?! This bath rug is incredibly soft and supportive. The rubberized grip on the backing keeps it in place nicely. The grey color has undertones that might seem a bit purple if placed on blue flooring. However, I'm quite happy with it, whatever the undertones!
This is the best bathmat I’ve ever put my feet on, ever. I could curl up and sleep on it, it’s sooo soft & cushy. I got it in white though and I have zero idea how to clean it. Wish they had more colors & sizes, would love an area rug of this material. Also, it’s like 2 inches thick, so if you’re planning to put it in a spot where a door needs to swing over it, it’s highly unlikely that that will be possible.
So I was looking for a bath mat for quite a while because I wanted something nice to step onto when I get out of the shower. Since I've had this bath mat for a while now and want to buy more for my other 2 bathrooms and maybe even my laundry room, I wanted to leave a review.
I don't know why the mat has fallen apart for others- it's strange because I have washed this mat many times and put it in the dryer and it's still as good as new. In particular, I love the way the non-slip is done on the back because with my other mats, the back always comes off in both the washer and the dryer. So those mats don't last long, and it's absolutely disgusting to clean out the dryer lint or whatever it's called. And often that stuff stays in the actual dryer. Eww. But this is the only mat that I've had with which I haven't had that problem.
I really only have 2 problems with this mat:
1. This mat is thick. That's why it's soft, but it does not allow me to close the door if the mat is in the way. Personally, the way my house is structured, I can work around this problem but I would love to see a thinner version of this mat.
2. Very often it's "currently unavailable." I want to buy more of this type of mat but I can't because of that. So I have to check back often to see it's status. That's a bit of a pain- I wish there was some way that I could be contacted once this mat becomes available again.
I don't think they're enough to take off any stars, but I did want to mention them so you're aware.

We recently changed colors in our bathroom decor. We went with blues, grays,white, beige and this mat was a perfect color fit. But the best part is the comfort of the mat. You don't feel like you are hitting the floor when you step out on it. Love it. Will order again- no reservations.
Bought this for the guest bathroom and it is so soft and cozy. I've avoided this sort of mat due to the fact that I didn't think it would wash easily, but it does. Alone in the front load washer on delicate, air dry, then put in the drier for a few minutes to fluff it. Looks like new! It is rather stiff, even after washing, so it will not drape over a bar. Pretty enough to leave down if you have the room.
Love this bath mat. It is cushy and soft on my feet, and the color looks nice. One downside is that the more worn it gets, the more ratty the fibers look. Considering getting a wood bath mat instead to look more elegant (this bath mat is more on the comfy side, so if you're concerned about interior design, this rug won't look like a nice shag rug for long)
So soft and comfy but the way it was packaged wasn’t good. It was folded straight down the middle so I had to keep folding it the opposite way to flatten out.
I LOVE this rug! We purchased the gray color u-shaped rug for our bathroom. Super soft and plush. I wouldn’t recommend putting this in the washing machine. Most memory foam products don’t do well. If you have a carpet shampooing machine I suggest using the hand held attachment to clean the rug. That’s what I use for our memory foam mattress and it cleans the memory foam very well. Buying the smaller rug now!
