Was so happy I bought this flexible magnetic strip! I followed instructions and it works great! The company also emailed me before I received it to thank me and to explain the how to use instructions. I used it in bathroom, I put a strip on mirror to hold my clips Bobby pins etc, perfect! I also used it on fridge to hold my pictures and used 3 strips together to hold my knives. They held up and did not fall.
I had originally ordered the adhesive magnetic dots as it sounded from the description and reviews that it would work for me. My kitchen trash bin cabinet kept opening after I closed it, even softly, so instead of spending countless hours on adjusting it, I got a bit ingenious and thought I'd try using magnets. So after the first failure with the magnetic dots, which turned out to be way too weak, I went through all the dozens of other adhesive magnetic products on here and finally felt good enough about this product and gave it an order. I am so happy as it worked perfectly! I simply cut the desired length of the magnetic strip, peeled off the plastic protector strip (on the adhesive side), stuck it along the top edge of my trash bin cabinet door, and now my cabinet actually closes shut. Both the adhesive and magnet are a lot stronger than I expected, but it's better than being too weak. Worked perfectly for my needs. So happy! Package came in a padded plastic envelope and arrived fast and safely.
I used this in conjuction with duct tape to create a "sealed" door between my removable doggy door and sliding glass door in my apartment (see picture). I needed it because the sliding glass door and tracks were poorly installed and off level- even if the doggy door is fantastic and seals itself around the dog entrance, I'm in humid Texas and needed to seal the gap tight between the glass door. It didn't have as strong as magnetism as I'd like and I don't anticipate it to hold up for long-but it is working. It's not a conventional idea but with a little bit stronger magnetism and adhesive I'll have a very adaptable, fully sealed door whichever apartment I live.
I needed something to hold a sheet closed that I had hung up in the doorway to keep the AC air from a room in my house (don't want a door). I just adhered the magnet to both sides of the door and on the sheet. Works perfect. I didn't want a very strong magnet because people are in and out all the time. this is strong enough to hold it closed when it needs to be but it's also not too strong that you have a problem pushing the sheet to the side. What I really liked is all you need is a pair of scissors to cut the magnet.

This adhesive magnetic tape was as described.
I am using it to hold "thinlits" that I use in my card making craft. I attached them to the inside of a cabinet door. They are holding very well but they have only been up for 3 days and the thinlits are very lightweight. I am very impressed with the customer involvement of the business! They definitely want to make sure that their customers are happy with product!
Nice and strong. I used this on the back of the jumbo clothes pins for magnets on my refrigerator to keep my girls school papers organized and not constantly having packets fall down. I was really amazed what 2 little strips on the back could do with those heavy clips and a bunch of papers. Couldn't recommend a better brand to do the job.
I've found this great for giving certain products a magnetic boost, and it helps a lot with getting the thing(s) you had on your old fridge (calendar, notepad, etc.) to stick on to your new stainless steel one.
I messed up the first thing I attached to the fridge, and the strips came off leaving very little residue. (possibly just clean sfc outline) Nothing that couldn't be handled by a damp paper towel. Plus there's plenty of reel left to replace the mistake- they could be mildly reusable too. (But why, if you have so much?)
Seems relatively strong - but I've mostly used it magnet to magnet.
Only slight problem I've encountered is the need to flatten out the strips (from the coil). With some bending, small cuts still show a slight warp - BUT it is easily negated by the adhesive or opposite magnetic surface.
I have small spice containers and was hoping that 1 strip of this magnetic tape would hold up each container, however, these are not overly strong and I need 2 strips on each container...so was a bit disappointed with that. They do stick well to the container though. All in all, they will work for my needs and I ended up buying a second roll so I have enough for all of my spices.
My shower door will not stay closed due to the top of door connecting to other magnetic strip is off and redrilled and moved it over about 1/4 inch at top. That works for now but cut off a small one inch piece to test it in case I have to replace the magnetic tape and just the one inch piece works great but may check with manufacturer if they carry 1/4 in wide or whatever the slot the original magnetic tape sits in to replace the slot area and the one on the door itself but this product works great. May have other uses for the tape I bought for cabinet closures or other such uses.
