It activate by motion so when wheel spins it lights up.
Only down sides are it is not as bright as I thought it would. You also have to drive pretty fast to get one continuous flow lights flashing. Because it is so easily screw it on it can easily be unscrew so anyone can take it off your tire.

I put this on my motorcycle and gave my extra two lights to my friend to put on her motorcycle. We both love how it looks! It also makes it a little safer for use to go riding during the night. The lights make us a little bit more visible to other drivers on the road. It was easy to install and i love how i don't have to worry about changing the batteries since it's solar powered!

I got these for my teenager and he LOVES them! He thinks they are cooler than sliced bread. Easy to install and good fun
They are super easy to install and it has a button that allows you to change colors and modes. I own a Hyundai Elantra sedan and it gives it a cool look at night. I have it on the blue/white combo.
It's simultaneously subtle and flashy. I love it. If your wheels aren't exposed to the sun one or two of the lights won't have enough charge. They are bulky and draw attention when not lit but it's understandable. Survives car washes. Wouldn't recommend for snow use.
