Alarm Clock, Digital LED Wake Up Light Sunrise Alarm Clock for Heavy Sleepers with 6 Nature Sounds, FM Radio, Snooze Function, Touch Control, Brightness Adjustable for Kids

Ok, I love this thing. I was hesitant to buy with mixed reviews on all the different brands, but I’m so glad I landed on this one. I wake up on my own before the actual alarm goes off and it’s awesome. I will say that the light is pretty bright, but my night stand is lower than my bed so it’s not blinding for me. I would recommend facing it straight forward instead of towards you. The only downside I see with this is that the alarm sounds are pretty terrible lol I use the ocean one and it sounds a bit like static when you can’t find a radio station. To me that doesn’t matter since I’m awake before it goes off anyway. You should definitely try this thing out. Hope this helps :)

Very easy setup, sounds great, very relaxing music.

I purchased the Sunrise Alarm Clock to help me get up in the morning, and it does by simulating the sun raising and a very loud alarm noise. After four days of use, I am able to get up even before the alarm sets off in the morning and have more energy. The other thing is that this thing is LOUD, both the alarm and the FM radio so I had to decrease it to level 3 (it goes up to 12), and that is a good thing in my opinion. The other cool thing is that there are multiple natural sounds which can be used for the alarm, and there is also the color changing LED light around the clock itself. It can be set to automatically change and cycle through all the colors or just one color of choice. Another neat feature is that it can be used as a room light which will change the intensity of the white light to a warm white to be able to fall asleep faster. The FM radio was able to pick up and preset over 12 local radio stations in my rear and with good reception. The buttons in the front of the clock are sensitive and are used to setup the alarm, sleep time, and turn alarm on/of, snooze, FM radio, and LED color picker. The buttons in the back lets you pick the different alarms sound and natural sound.

Was looking for a sunrise clock recently. Saw one made by Phillips at a big box store and it was over $100. I found this little guy and got it at a fraction of the price. It works well and is easy to use. I love it.

Pro:
1. Uses micro usb to charge. So can easily replace.
2. Intuitive and easy to use. You set alarm for the sunrise time and optionally you can set the sunset time.
3. Offer 6 unique wakeup tones or the choice to use FM radio.
4. FM radio reception is great. I get all the channels I am used to listening to clearly.
5. Has different color mood lighting and you can also have it scroll through all the colors slowly and gradually shifts into different color hues.
6. Backup battery when there are power outages (note: only the alarm works on battery and not the lights).
7. Can turn off the clock if the light bothers you.
8. Alarm is loud enough and bright enough to wake you.

Cons:
1. No scheduling (but didn't expect it for the price. Also I wake up at the same time every day, so it doesn't matter).
2. Very minor gripe is that the antenna is just a long loose wire. I'm sure it could have been hidden inside the unit or something.

All in all, I am very satisfied.

Short version:
Easy setup and decent quality. Bright light with one choice of color light. Put in 3 AAA batteries, plug into wall, setup time and alarm time, set volume and radio channel if desired and you are good to go. Overall it does what it advertised so if this is what you are after, then go buy one.

Long version:
1) easy setup.
It was pretty easy to figure out what the buttons do and what not. I didn't really need the instruction manual to figure things out. Just open and start pressing buttons and it is pretty self-explanatory. Just make sure to stick 3 AAA in the back and plug in the wall and you are set to go.

2) flimsy battery cover.
The battery cover was a bit flimsy, but it works. Overall it can be better designed but hey you don't often change batteries anyways since the batteries are only for backup. I would like to see some type of string so the battery cover doesn't fall out everytime I open it.

3) short USB cable and cheap USB power block.
The USB cable is short so I had to keep it close to the socket. The USB power block is also cheap. So if you want something fancier just use your extra phone USB power block and your own micro-usb cable.

4) bright light and one choice of color.
I am not sure what the one color light feature is but you can have your usual yellow light which you can adjust the brightness up and down and then if you want you can choose one extra color. The main light brightness is pretty bright IMO. So this is nice.

5) capacitive touch button.
There are 4 hard buttons on top and a bunch of soft buttons on the front. The front button is ok but can be slightly annoying if press fast. It would occasionally miss if you rapid press. But if you slow down then you are good. There is also a feedback light to indicate any capacitive button press. Overall that is nice.

6) volume control.
This is the one thing I dislike enough to criticize this item. The other issues are minor and can be ignored. This is why I gave this a 4 stars. The volume is loud for sure to make sure you wake up, however the volume control is pretty lacking. You cycle through low to high and there is no way to go the other direction. You just have to cycle through again if you missed you number. Moreover the lowest volume is still pretty loud. Just for reference I keep mine at 2 out 15 and that is sufficient for me to wake up. I just wished they would make it so the lowest volume is actually low. The lowest setting is still pretty loud.

6) alarm and wake up feature.
I can attest this does what it said it does. Just before the alarm rings it starts to light up the room. However since this is summer here in the USA, this feature we get naturally in the morning. It would be much more useful in the winter when I wake up and it is still dark out. Overall I can't tell if this slow light up feature really helps or not in terms of waking you up properly, but it does work as advertised. Keep in mind the light does not work if you are not plugged into wall.

7) overall build quality.
Overall it seems solid. I cant say for longevity as I only used this for 1 day. Light output seems consistent and the radio features is nice. Though it would be nice to have it internet connected to get time and such as like everything is going now a days. But then again it was low cost so I can fault it there. I also like the handle on the back to make it easy to transport here and there. And the brightest setting is pretty bright for the room.

BONUS:
Since this is USB powered if you ever have a power outage you can always use a portable USB phone charger to run this thing. It is bright enough to light up a room! So it can be a dual purpose use should you end up not using the alarm and wake up feature.

WOW! This medium sized alarm clock packs a lot of features! It has a nice bright (or dim if you want it to be) light that allows you to gradually wake up with the sun, progressively getting brighter. It also offers numerous other sound options and includes a really good FM Receiver that will auto-tune your channels. Two alarm times to set and all the usual alarm functions, such as snooze, etc.

It has a nice stand that keeps it nice and stable and the main buttons you need are on the front of the clock so no need to worry about trying to find the buttons on the top or behind it. The only buttons behind it are those you usually set once and don’t want to accidentally touch again. Great design and a very “spa like” look and feel to it. You can also adjust the brightness of the LED for the time as you see fit.

There are multiple colors as you can see in the product pictures and the colors are very vibrant. The backup battery ensures you won’t need to reset your settings and alarms in the event of a short power outage. The amount of features packed into this item is insane! The directions are very clear and well written and easy to follow.

If you are tired of being startled out of bed by a noisy alarm clock that jolts you from sleep and want a nice relaxing spa-like wakeup, then this device is for you!

so i wanted a new night light for my kids. the small plug in one isn't bright enough so i looked at different solutions and saw this sun rise alarm clock. this alarm clock is suppose to simulate the sun rising to wake you up naturally. so at about 5mins before your alarm goes off it starts off at light level #1 (the lowest) gradually going up to level #10 the brightest, which is pretty bright. Some people complained about the brightness but I didn't mind the brightest setting. you have the ability to set it to 10 or 15 different pre-recorded sound settings or set it to FM radio.

it comes with a micro usb cord for wired power or you can use x3 AAA batteries. the clock itself is more of a off white color, its not white white. for what i'm using it for it works great. i use it as a night light for my kids. you can set it to "sun rise" which will wake you up with rising light intensity or "sunset" where you set a time and it'll start at the preset light intensity and lower it gradually over 30mins. or if you just want to use it as a night light you can set it from #1 thru #10 setting, and it'll stay at that setting all night.

another feature it has it has is a few different colors like orange, green, blue, etc. but the disadvantage of setting it these other colors you cannot change the intensity of the light. these orange, green, blue, etc. are set pretty bright. for my kids, too bright for a night light. so we just set it to the yellow'ish color, which will allow you to change the light intensity.

the digital clock color is orange, i dont mind it but i know some people wouldn't like that color. the digital clock brightness has low and high light intensity as well.

the FM was kinda hard to figure out as the manual wasn't very clear on how to change the FM stations. you don't "tune" to different FM stations. you have to let the clock auto scan for channels and it'll save it as P1, P2, P3, P4, etc. and after it scans then you can scroll thru those P1, P2, P3, etc. for the station you want. i wish i could just change it to the station i wanted rather than have the auto scan but it's not a big deal as i don't use the FM radio much. the reception was fine. I received all the usual stations as i would any other radio i have. the speaker is small and the sounds is good enough for me but don't expect deep rich bass or sound, it just doesn't have it for this 2 inch speaker.

the other thing i didn't like was the volume control. there's a - and + control but that's for changing other settings and not use for volume. you have to toggle a single volume button going low to high only. you couldn't toggle up a volume setting then toggle down a volume. if you wanted a setting and you missed it you would have to toggle thru the 1 - 15 volume setting all over. it's basically cycling thru the volume settings. not a big deal for me as we don't use the FM much.

the pictures show the size of the clock against a 12 inch ruler. low level light setting and highest level bright setting, different colors (orange, green, blue, etc) you can toggle thru. the rear has a easy to grab handle, micro USB power, battery slot.

with the lights off and the lowest setting on the clock you can barely see the box a few inches away. at highest setting you can see the box much further.

again for me great clock/alarm/night light for kids. they love it. it'd be even better if it came with a remote so the kids can change the light settings from bed!

Alright, I purchased this for the novelty factor and because my current alarm clock was starting to act up. My wife and I wake up at different times, so the usual blaring alarms are not good for us. So I figured I'd try this "sunrise" clock and I'm very glad I did.

Pros:
+ nice quality build, decent heft and sits flat on the nightstand
+ supports 24hr display, instead of only the usual AM/PM (why isn't this standard on ALL clocks?)
+ wake-up-light actually works for me!
+ auto-programs radio stations
+ easy to use/setup
+ optional battery power source to keep time if/when power goes out

Cons:
- no silent alarm or light-only alarm, so I have to be sure I turn off the alarm light before the alarm sound kicks in
- there is a volume control for the alarm sound, but even at the lowest setting, it's still too loud for me
- control buttons on the face of the clock are not back-lit or raised, good luck touching the right one in the dark, but you'll learn to feel for the correct one eventually
- no auto DST or button
- no AUX USB charging port

NOTES: I don't normally sleep at the same time everyday, so the Sunset feature of this clock does me no good, though it is neat. I'm also not partying in my bedroom, so the mood lighting options don't do much for me either - though the kids like seeing my room in different shades now. I also don't listen to the radio much, so the speakers don't bother me, though I wasn't expecting much in this category. The alarm sound options include the usual buzzer noises, calming nature sounds, some classical music and lastly, the FM radio station you last listened to. But what I really like is how the wake up light works. It basically kicks in 30 minutes before your alarm time and will gradually brighten as time draws near. And at the actual alarm time, the sound will kick in - which I've been able to preempt so far. The light itself actually works at waking me up gently without bothering my wife or shocking me up with a blaring sound.

After 3 mornings with this thing, I'm happy I bought this. Is it perfect in every way for me? No, but compared to the more expensive ones out there, I'll gladly compromise to keep a few $ in my pocket.

I ended up returning mine. Not because it didn't work as advertised but because my significant other (a light sleeper) did not like waking up earlier than needed. When using the sunrise light function, I noticed my ability to wake up without snoozing as often. My bedroom has blackout curtains with the window facing the morning sun. It doesn't really matter when the sun rises because I usually don't see it. The sunrise clock fixed that or at least, made it a controlled function. I also made use of it as a night light. The light intensity control makes walking around at night easy without waking up the significant other.

The materials are okay. They do not exude quality. I dropped mine a few times while setting it up and it held up fine. Whatever you're paying for this, the money is really going into the sunrise functionality.

Radio works but not practical. I haven't used a clocked radio for years and don't plan on it. But if you're planning on using this as your primary radio, look elsehwere. The speaker is meh and finding stations is not intuitive. No manual dial - just an auto-search button to get to your station. I did listen to my NPR station just fine.

The nature sounds are a neat function and probably useful for someone off the "grid". If you have an Echo, Google Home or a smartphone, you'd be much happier with those as your "wake up to nature" device.

If it weren't for my partner, I'd keep mine. As for now, I'll have to make a tiny crack in the curtains to get that sunrise in!

So I was in the market to purchase a clock radio that had light up functionality and decided to try this particular product. I was not disappointed!

First, it takes 3 Triple A batteries as a backup to preserve the settings in the event of a power outage.

The clock radio speaker can get really loud while still sounding pretty clear and can automatically program FM radio stations within the receiver’s range. I think my radio picked up about 22 stations. I also live up in the mountains where signals don’t generally travel too far so this is pretty impressive.

You can control the brightness of the clock display itself which is a nice functionality from off to dim to bright.

The alarm was easy to set and as the clock gets closer to the alarm time it progressively gets brighter and brighter. It reaches the point where it gets really bright so you could probably use this product as a nightlight as well.

I think my favorite feature is that not only can you get a bright white light but you can change the color to a vibrant red or green or orange or blue or teal or pink. I included a few pictures with my review which I hope can display the richness of the colors.

It took a few tries for me to figure out all of the buttons but instructions are included and as with most things, if you tinker with it for a few minutes you’ve got it down pat.

I’m happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a digital clock radio with light up technology.
