Works better than expected. Son loves it. I love that you can charge it so you don’t have to waste money on batteries. Definitely worth buying this one for a few more dollars versus non chargeable ones. We just got it so I’m not sure how they hold up but I am hoping it lasts!

Gave this to my 4 year old grandson, it was a big hit. They played with it all afternoon. It is well constructed. They played on a large tiled floor (combo den - dining room). We were all surprised at how smooth if glides and bounced off obstacles.

We purchased the hoover soccer ball for our 5 year old daughter who has endless energy. She really enjoys kicking the hoover ball around on our tiled kitchen floor. I love how it is covered in a padded bumper, so I don't have to worry about it scratching up our furniture that is bounces off of. The rechargeable battery using a USB charger is an added bonus because I don't need to worry about having extra batteries on hand. It does initial need to be charged for 3 hours before the first use, so I would suggest if giving it as a gift to charge and then place back in the box. That way it is quickly ready for use for an eager and excited kid.
I bought this for the kids where I work and they love it. The kiddos are between 10 and 17 and are stuck inside most of the time so this hover ball is a good way to let off some energy. It has stood up to wear very well so far. The only down side is that it needs charged after about half an hour of play.
3-year- old loves it! I bought it as a replacement for a similar toy that actually uses batteries. They kept falling out. USB charger is definitely better!
I bought is to replace competitors version with replaceable ni-cad batteries. The problem the old one was the Ni-cad battery is heavier and was only available by buying a completely new system. So having the battery replaceable only adds weight. So, as the result (F=MA) the old version hit the wall harder when kicked at the same speed. Being rechargeable has many advantages, the one downside is it takes about a 3-hour charge for 30 mins of play. I timed it and actually got 40 min after the first charge so they are allowing for some battery degradation. I suppose if you had 5 you theoretically could play non-stop. The good news is when was the last time you bought any toy with a 2 year Warranty? The users Manual says they will even replace it if it is broken "because of kicking too hard"?
