These are clearly cheap stands. I'm using them as reflector stands, so the price is perfect, but these will never leave the studio. I wouldn't purchase these for use on location, as the metal tubing is thinner than even the stands included in most lighting kits. They also don't feel sturdy enough to support any type of arm, but for small lights, umbrellas, or reflectors, I think they're a valid option. The folding/unfolding of the base is stiff and clunky, but once folded, they are quite small, so storing is easy. I'd recommend these if you're on a tight budget and just need any stand, but don't expect to take these from location to location. They may be small, but they aren't built for travel.
This stand is so cheap, it costs a fraction of some of my other heavy duty stands. With that said, if you need a few stands to mount some of the lightweight items, such as a video monitor/recorder, and a lightweight Mic setup, then this stand will work perfectly.
Everything rattles and the metal used is of the thinnest kind. When I took the stand out of package couple plastic leg support fall off the packaging even before use.
But do not try to mount anything more than 4lb on it because it'll be so wobbly and easily tipped over. The legs while fully spread out is not wide enough to support larger heavier items.
these are not real beefy but for the money they are awesome. I use them to hold lights. I would not use them for expensive strobes but for cheap LED construction lights they work great and for the price.
Well made,price point is very good. Shipped fast, well pkg. light weight but strong enough even for my application to hold some fairly heavy LED lights
Just needed a cheap stand to hold a video light but was pleasantly surprised with the quality and ease of operation of this stand considering the price. Bought the two-pak (2nd one is 50% off compared to buying just one), shipped promptly, and all is well. Like the turn lock/unlock knobs versus push tight type.

We are very happy with this stand! It is very sturdy and stable compared to our last ones. The tubing is much bigger and does a great job.
They are god but don't use them for heavy things. Speakers won't last on them. small lights are ok. But they are basic and ok for the money.
These tripods are absolutely amazing! Some of the lower ratings were making me a bit doubtful however I’m so happy I decided to buy them. Hands down the sturdiest tripods I’ve ever bought! Supper happy with my purchase.
Nice light stands for medium duty usage. They are well built and tighten down well. They seem to be pretty sturdy. I think they'll be fine for light-weight LED lights. I believe they are a good value for the money.
These poles are great for holding flashes , umbrellas and other things. Without a bar to go across and your own sand bags, that's about it. It work as for the mentioned uses well though.
