They are great. But, they're a little hard to get started. Also, the description says that they are fine tip but they're really not. I thought that they were so I bought them. Bare with me here.....I'm decorating xmas tags (it's early I know) and placing chalkboard labels on the other side. I needed a fine tip to get all the writing on it (To/From etc). Even if I apply light pressure, it doesn't do the trick. So that's why I gave it a #4. Do you have a micro tip?
These are a bit hard to get started as many have noted, but once they get going they produce a very bright image and are easy to draw with. I used them to write beer names on chaulk-board-topped tapper handles. They worked perfectly for this.
The only drawback I found is how fragile their felt tips are and how unforgiving the cap design is. If you are not EXTREMELY careful when you replace the cap, you may get it slightly cockeyed -- preventing the tip from resting in the space reserved for it. When this happens, the tip is likely to bend or break rendering the marker totally useless. My brown marker lasted for two words before it died. After this happened, I checked several others and was able to save them before their tips were also broken.
Replace the tips carefully. : )
I ordered these for my front desk staff because we're running a creativity contest until the new year starts. I was a little leery of these and the price because I was used to spending $14 at Michael's for like 3 colors. These work great, and my crew enjoys them as well!
I originally bought these markers to use with my dry erase board. The are a great fine tip, the only thing is that you have to make sure not to press hard on them when you write or else the fine tip becomes a medium tip and won't write as fine. They wipe off fairly easy so you need to avoid placing anything on them after you've used them. The bright colors are great and can be easily read at a glance. I highly recommend for anyone looking to purchase them for dry erase boards. I have not tried them on chalkboards yet.

I've never worked with chalk pens and didn't know what to expect, but I'm quite pleased with these. The colors are nice and strong and contrast nicely with the black "chalkboard" labels. I've already used the labels to designate food containers in the kitchen and plan to rearrange the kitchen using all of them, and perhaps buy more. This was a great lightning deal, but the full price appears reasonable as well.
Best chalk board pens ever!!! Nice crisp lines and colors can be seen easily. Would definitely recommend getting! The cute labels you get for free are an added bonus!
I really love how these draw. The lines are great, Ink quality is amazing, and the grip is easy to hold.
The downfalls are:
They take a really long time of compressing the tip to get the color to come out the first time. In fact, I almost blunted the tips in doing so on some of the colors. The caps are a little tough to get on, so when I am trying I have also blunted the tip of the markers.
I am giving these as a Christmas gift to a couple of young boys. I bought some before and they have been such fun for the children. You never know what lovely creations grace my dining room window or mirrors. Such great fun for them and me.
These chalk markers are great! They have a nice deep color to them and write nicely. My kids have had fun adding color to our chalkboard calendar. I have not used the labels yet, but am excited to put them to good use.
