This product is amazing me, compatible size and really good quality. It perfectly fit my PS4 and hold it stably. Two chargers for controllers, and three extra USB port for other devices. The design that be with a button which can turn off the USB hub is really impressive. The price is nice for this quality.

I received this as a Christmas gift last year, not to much surprise as it was bought on my Amazon account so I know this is the correct listing.
This little stand is fantastic. The sheer amount of counter space I save from having my system sit vertically keeps the media stand looking tidy and clutter free. The dual controller chargers have yet to let me down. The charge indicating lights are easy to understand and switching controllers is much more convenient now than having to deal with the old cords. On top of it all the fan keeps the system cool while running which is perfect if you use your system for hours on end.
My sole complaint about the stand is that occasionally when the fan starts up it makes a loud whirling sound. Almost like it's not seated in it's house correctly and is wobbling while it spins. After a few minutes it corrects itself and the whirling noise stops.
In the end this stand is something every PS4 owner should have. If you're still on the fence about this stand just bite the bullet. You won't regret it.
Good vertical stand that actually works. I have ordered these in the past and they have failed to function. No assembly required and it plugs right in and turns on. The charging ports on the side are also super handy and make the setup very nice. The fans are good and do provide some level of cooling. I tried my system minus the fans and it felt noticeably warmer on the shell and at the vents after 2 hours of Horizon Zero Dawn (clocked from 94.3-97.1 at vents). With the vents it was observed to be operating 6.3 degrees Fahrenheit lower. The plastic thumb stick covers are forgettable.
This stand goes great with my PS4 Slim, from how well it fits (there's a bracket included for the Slim model for a snug fit) to the modest cooling solution, and finally its two charging ports for the controllers. So I'll go over those features along with the USB hub in order.
1. Every PlayStation since the PS2 looks best standing vertically, but you'll definitely need a stand for its latest iteration. The stand includes a bracket for the PS4 Slim, a simple tweak for a stand originally built with the launch PS4. Since I have the Slim model, I made sure this stand had such a feature. Let me say I wasn't disappointed: this bracket fits snugly inside the original and my Slim fits snugly inside that adapter. Furthermore, there are large grips at the bottom to ensure this doesn't slip. Unless I'm using a lot of force or intentionally knocking my console over, this thing won't budge. It also helps that the gold PS4 has black, which is an aesthetic bonus for this accessory.
2. Sony is notorious for slim variants of its consoles since their first: the PlayStation. Their slim models are also notorious for excess heat issues. A prone PS4 Slim gets REALLY hot. A vertical one (with a decent stand) is a touch cooler. Throw in those two fans for this stand and the console goes from hot to warm. They're single speed with a power button for those like myself that want fans that aren't constantly running. It's a modest cooling solution via USB that you may connect to the PS4. This USB provides power to the fans, 3 USB hub, and controller charging ports.
3. The controller charging ports are protruding micro USB docks for DualShock4 controllers. Simply line up the controllers into the contours of the docks and gently push them down to slide the USB in place. They charge my controllers perfectly fine. Sometimes I accidentally turn on my PS4 by pressing the PS button, so place the controller in by the handles.
4. With 3 USB ports, you can connect extra controllers, storage devices, or even charge devices. Yes, they'll charge just fine. My phone charges even though I'm using it for file transfers, as well as my controller. That's not too surprising, but I have a dedicated universal USB fast charger for that. Also, the PS4 is plenty powerful to supply power to two small cooling fans and charge a phone similar to fast charge 2.0.
Granted the price point, a fully functional stand like this merits 5 stars for affordability, versatility, and its ability to achieve its purpose effectively. I'd like slightly larger, more powerful fans but these are satisfactory. GT Sport can run my PS4 hot, so those fans are doing a modest job for their size and speed. The charge ports are definitely a great addition and save me the hassle of putting away my controllers while keeping them charged. Also, my PS4 looks much better standing than my Xbox One S.
Now if only there were a Nintendo Switch version....
*UPDATE* Customer service has shipped a replacement to me at no charge. That level of customer service is enough for me to change my review to 5 stars. I am excited to get the replacement and give it a shot. Overall it is a very good accessory for the PS4 with the extra air flow, controller charging stations, and usb ports.
The fans don't flow a ton of air and after the first few weeks they became noisy on startup but the noise usually gets better after a minute or two. It is great to have two charging ports for controllers as well as usb ports so even if the fans stop working I will continue to use it.

I got it one week ago. My husband and I love this. We now have more room to put things and we can also charge the controllers with it as well.and it helps the PS4 to cooling down of course. The most awesome thing is you can feel the coolness of the fan blowing into the system.it is so quite. The product looks great. Works great. Function great. Recommend
You can plug it (the USB cable) to the PS4 and then it will act as a proper hub for the ps4, both for charging and other functions.
Or plug into a USB power source and then it will be just a charger,
but this way you can charge your controllers even with the ps4 completely powered down.
The fans have a separate switch to enable / disable them.
The charging cradle has a plexy sheet to lead the light from the controller to the side, so you can see if it is charging
(the light on the controller is otherwise not visible when it is in the cradle).
My old ps3 charger stand has independent status lights for each charging cradles and came with an independent PSU,
but - for what it worth - this solution is OK.
Just received the item today. So for so good with the product. The reviews was a big in purchasing this merchandise.
Five starts because it's simple but effective. The PS4 fits in the stand more snugly than I expected which is nice, it adds a level of stability to it. I don't worry about my console falling over. The fans work, though I can't attest to how much difference they make. But it's nice having the extra USB ports and charging cradles for controllers. Would definitely recommend.
Works exactly as described. My PS4 fits like a champ. And the charging station for the controllers are A+. The only beef I have is if you have a silicone/rubber skin on your controller, you will fight like hell to get the controller on the charging stations (I have not been successful yet). But that does not detract from overall satisfaction for this stand.
If you need a stand for your device, this is a good one to have. I thought I might have wanted one that I can store games in, but am glad I did not.
