After observing me using the work first aid kit to re-bandage a cut from one of my weekend diy activities, a friend of mine mentioned that it was odd, how in silicon valley, everyone used the work first aid kit for everything from minor scrapes to painkillers; anything, really. I've been working here for going on two decades, so I thought this was the case everywhere. And it got me thinking; it's super convenient to have a first aid kit nailed to the wall. I searched around, and to get the one we've got at work, it'd be about 3x the price; this one looks to be just as good and convenient, maybe more so, because there are some large panels in the doors where you could put in extra stuff, and the price is super low.
It is obviously plastic, and probably wont last as long as the metal boxes, but eh, I've got it screwed to an ikea wardrobe; that thing isn't going to last forever, either. And it is cheaper and better organized than the metal boxes I've seen on amazon or at work.
The first time I opened it, I thought I broke the catch, but if you look on the side of one of the front panels, it's got a little sticker mentioning that it's a safety catch, designed to come apart if someone tries to open the kit with too much enthusiasm. I followed the instructions and put the little lever back where it belonged, and the thing was as good as new.
It has even got a paper 'pattern' you know, like when you are sewing something. You put this paper over the wall where you want to hang the kit, then you put screws in through the paper at the marked points, leaving them protruding just a little. rip the paper off (or leave it, I guess) and then slide the box on. No measuring required.
The contents are office quality; I will probably replace the bandages with cloth bandages, but that's okay. Most of it I will use as-is.
with very bad finger deep cuts, i realized that i needed
to have a nice first aid kit around. this kit is now
fastened on the wall of my bathroom. that latch
on the right side door works very well and was well thought out.
it will be pretty durable as far as plastic latches go.
you do have a little room in the left door to add some small
things, so i added a box of wound seal and a splinter removal
kit. i had my doubts about a plastic wall mounted kit, but it really
is professional looking after installed on the bathroom wall.
Installed this at my workplace. It looks nice, has everything you would need, can be restocked easily. It's nice that it is removable in an emergency so you can take it where it's needed.
The case is mostly fine, although the mounting is a little flimsy. Just a side effect of the plastic construction. The door latch feels like it could break, but hasn't and I'm less worried about it these days. The left side door could have more storage for extra supplies although there is some. The doors don't have hinges, just thin plastic connections that are molded as one complete unit and is flimsy enough to act like a hinge. Depending on how much use it gets, I could see doors falling off with time.
As an office manager, I love how this cabinet is organized and how easy it is to reorder the items inside. They have recently updated the supplies to match the most recent OSHA standards (ex. CPR mask). We have 30 manufacturing/office employees and used this First Aid cabinet hung on the wall along with a separate portable Burn Kit and a Bloodborne Pathogen Kit. After 2 years of use, the handle/lever that opens the cabinet broke off. The opening lever is plastic and will not be able to stand years of regular use/abuse. But I couldn't find another First Aid cabinet that was as well-organized as this one -- especially for the price -- so I ordered it again.
Very nice and well stocked first aid kit. I was looking for a first aid kit that I could mount to the wall in my landscape trailer. I have a crew of guys that use this trailer as their mobile office. We get bumps and scratches here and there and wanted something that was higher quality than your usual store bought kits. I also installed an eye was station below it. The guys and I love it.

Great set and a fantastic value for the home. A nice bargain for all that you get...including the very functional and nicely laid out case. I was tired of never having needed items on hand and resorting to jury rigged solutions. I now consider that problem solved.
I plussed this kit up with a few extra items from amazon. Eye wash kit, disposable thermometers and splinter removal devices. I would have paid extra to have those items included...though they are inexpensive to add on. I estimate everything will eventually fit neatly and organized in the case(some underutilized space was included).
UPDATE 2017. Front open/close plastic hinge broken already with alomost no use. Poorly/cheaply made. 5 stars is now 4 stars.
Great product for our office. I bought two. It has a great assortment needed for the office and the refill process for the items couldn't be easier. A card comes up when stock is low. The removable card has all the reorder information needed on it and the refills are the same exact product that came with the original. I added some extra over the counter medicine needed for a 24 office like mine and had room to fit it in the box. Easy to hang as well. My only complaint would be the lever to open the box. It easily pulls off if you aren't careful, but it snaps right back in.
Great kit for my place of business (restaurant) only issue is replacements are overpriced, so I end up filling it with alternate brands and things like bottles of Advil vs a box of little packets of two ibuprohen. The construction is good, the latch will break away if you’re in an “emergency situation” a cool cut his hand and rushed into the office, blew the latch off and was into the bandages right away. You can mount it or keep it like a carrying case.
Nice unit. Everything one should need to handle most emergencies. Re-order number tags behind all products will help when it's that time. We got it for our Church.
I bought this for a friend for his woodworking shop that he just built on his property. It mounted great. Looks great. And has all of the items you'll need if most shop-related accidents happen. Bandaids. Aspirin. Gauze. Etc. - I recommend it. Only issue is that latch - it tends to come off when you open it. All you have to do is snap it back on when you close it. But still a bit of an annoyance.
