Fantastic little tripod! I was looking for a tripod to leave strapped in to my sling-style camera bag after realizing that my regular one was way too big for it. At first I was weary of this style of tripod, but after reading some reviews here and seeing photos of full-sized DSLR's on it, i decided to give it a go.
Am I glad I did!
This little guy feels really sturdy and super well-made! I have no reservations about putting my A6500 and medium-size lens on it. The ball head tightens down very secure, and doesn't leave me worrying about it coming lose or anything. Indeed, all the parts of this tripod feel very sturdy and well-made. You twist each leg section a little bit to extend and retract it. That would be the only portion that I can see wearing out over time. Getting so close to the ground is a fantastic option for photographers looking for a new angle, or film-makers to get a dramatic second-angle during a take.
The icing on the cake were the little extras that came in the box!
- Bluetooth shutter button. Looks like a tiny car alarm xD Haven't gotten to try it yet. Only has one button for shutter - so you have to set all your settings on the body before. Super handy for long-exposures, so you don't have to worry about the body moving just a little once it settles, or forgetting to set the 2sec timer to compensate.
- Cell phone clamp w/2 threaded holes; mount your phone on it's side or on its back. Interesting to mount it on its back, but gives options for cool/new angles.
Secure hold, if not a little difficult to get it over the phone. But once it's on, there's 0 chance of it falling off. Definitely not for phablets or Samsung Notes. It fits my S6 Active with case, so would probably fit an S8 or iPhone 6s just fine.

How to pull out the legs easily?
1. If you want to pull out all 5 sections of the leg, twist the rubber feet closewise for 4 times. And pull out the leg. Then twist the rubber foot anticlosewise to lock the leg.
2. And so on, if open 3 sections, twist twice, and lock it.
How to retract the legs easily?
1. If you open all 5 sections of the leg, pls twist the rubber foot anticlosewise 4 times, then retract the leg very easily, and lock it.
2. And so on, if open 3 sections, twist 2 times and lock it.
