I love these! Much more convenient profile than my old Thermapen (that I paid $100+ for!) ... fits nicely in my pocket. Or I can hook it on a carabiner or retractable keyring on my belt or apron. I can hook my finger in it and slide it out of my pocket. The narrow end of the probe tip is nearly twice as long as the Thermapen, which translates to a more accurate reading across a broader cross section of the food I'm checking. Nice bright backlight. Very responsive. The handle is slightly narrower and more ergonomic also. And it's magnetic. Keep one handy on the fridge, grill or stove. Plus ... the price!! I could buy nearly 6 of these for the price I paid for a single Thermapen! Shipping arrived the very next day!
We go through thermometers a lot at the restaurant I work at. This one is great and it’s magnetic so we leave on the side of our big convection oven. Works great!

I’m only reviewing one because I haven’t opened the second one yet. It reads quickly, has a backlit display when needed and reads temp in one to two seconds. What’s not to like?

For the price these are great. It’s like buying 2 for the price of one. I use one for the grill/smoker and one for the stove top. I have other thermometers and these are accurate and easy to use.
I was always constantly losing my cheap grocery store thermometers so it's really great that these come with a magnet on the back. Thanks to a great deal on a two pack I have one for the kitchen and one for the grill. The nice long needle gives your hand some distance from the heat while you're waiting for the reading, which for me take about 3-5 seconds.
Feels natural in your hand and looks nice wherever you put it. I tend to be on the grill at night too, so the light-up screen is great to have. Good quality stuff.
