I bought two of these shelves for the entryway of my home. I was worried they would be cheap looking, but the positive reviews convinced me to buy them. I'm glad I did, they're a great deal for the price. I am transitioning my decorations to a modern farmhouse look, and these fit right in. The assembly was kind of a pain, but I put them together myself. If I had waited for my husband to help me, things would have been easier. But I didn't feel like waiting. :-) Once assembled with all the bolts tightened, the furniture is pretty sturdy. It's not real wood, but the grain pattern on the shelves looks okay. The iron supports are black with a powder finish. The shelves are perfectly sized for the items I wanted to display. I recommend!
Very good shelving unit, at a great price. It’s pretty solid and easy to assemble. I initially bought the coffee table in this collection and was pleased with how it looked, so when we decided we needed some more storage, it was nice to know that there were matching items. We went with the regular shelving unit with 2 of the corner units, which look good together. I didn’t realize just how short they were, even though I read it in the specs of the item description—sometimes it just takes seeing it in person. Them being short isn’t a negative by any means; it’s just a note for anyone who’s looking for something smaller. They were just the right size for our space, and they just look so cute. I haven’t fully filled the shelves but I took pictures of it in our space, for size reference as well.
There are only 2 things that I would note, which aren’t huge deals, but maybe a little inconvenient. 1 is that the hardware packages includes 1 spare piece of each type of hardware, but unfortunately 2 pieces of hardware were damaged, so I used the 1 spare and had to improvise with the other damaged piece of hardware. The other thing is that the package includes zip ties to help connect the units together, like I did. But the zip ties provided are the matte white plastic color, which would totally stand out if used, so I got my own zip ties in black. I also included that in my photos...much better than if I used the provided white ties.
Very good-looking shelf and decent quality construction. Definitely won't tip over easily, and it seems like it would hold a pretty good amount of weight - I've only got a few, light items on it so far so I can't swear to that last part yet.
It isn't the easiest to assemble (although not terrible) - I would recommend having a second person there to help you hold the pieces in place so you don't have repeated fall-downs like I did.
Also, two of the bolts that attach the shelves onto the frame did not go into the shelf holes properly. They just spin as if they're stripped. The bolts themselves looked fine/not stripped, so it's probably the pre-drilled holes in the shelf that aren't quite right. This isn't a huge deal in my case, as all of the other bolts went tightly into place and keep the defective ones held in place - doesn't cause any structural issues or shelf tipping. If any more than two bolts were defective though there would probably be issues with the shelves staying put, so if you're ordering this shelf I would suggest checking them as soon as you open the box.
All in all, a nice display shelf. The very minor issues above aren't enough to discourage me from purchasing another.

Check the dimensions. This line of furniture is smaller than average. For me, the dimensions were perfect - it is for a smaller basement room with 7 foot ceilings, so smaller furniture is necessary / helpful to make the room look bigger. I also liked that I could arrange my books against the metal support poles on either side to keep them standing upright (no need to purchase bookends).
If you have typical ceilings (8-9 feet) be sure to measure and know what to expect. This seller does make larger furniture if that's what you need.
Assembly Instructions are basic but visually helpful - pay attention to the letter labels on the parts. The cross brace requires some strength to attach - put the four screws in loosely first if possible, then tighten all the way once all four are in place.
I bought two of these and they arrived two different days. Putting the first one together we ran into some problems. The pre drilled hole some some of the boards didn't line up. A bit of a slow down but thankfully we had a drill and improvised. We still put it together just as it should be. The second one arrived and we were prepared to do the same process as the first one, but this one we had no problems with and everything lined up perfectly. We are using these as multi media shelfs to hold xbox and etc. once we get the flooring completed and the wiring done. The measurements of the shelfs work perfectly for my needs.

All-in-all it's likeable, works, is pretty sturdy.
The shelves are particle board covered by a plastic type of coating but it's not noticeable.
The legs are what somewhat annoys me. The front legs lean back but they aren't cut at an angle so not the entire foot touches the ground. It's fine on carpet, but not sure on a hard surface.
I just moved and have assembled my fair share of furniture over the last month, and this was by far the worst. It took me almost two hours because the parts weren't all labelled and are so subtly different I kept getting them on backwards and you cant tell until you are almost complete. Now that it's put together, it looks nice, and is pretty substantial, but it doesn't quite stand level.
Update - the seller reached out and offered me a 30% discount for the trouble I had assembling.
I saw the small box on my porch about 2 days after ordering it or maybe it was the day right after I ordered it? Anyways, came fast, small box, you do have to put it together but I barely had to look at the instructions at all, simple to assemble cept the little metal things they kept falling out so you might need help or just alot of patience with yourself haha, but anyways, once I had it put together it was alot smaller than I thought it was gunna be from the picture but I should have payed more attention to the dimensions. (Put this together while playing a video game if that tells you how simple it is)
The wood look on this is very very nice, some caramelly colors mixed with some dark dark walnut, maple looks very good quality also, but its not real wood though. But I perfectly fine with that! It's not very heavy at all which is great so I can just pick it up to get behind it to clean and put it right back. It looks very cute with all my decor on it its super adorable! Just wish it was bigger is all! but it is great for a small 1 bedroom house like mine so it actually worked out for the better!!
I love this shelf. It was difficult for me to assemble, and my husband had to take over. It was packaged excellently and arrived in perfect condition. I love how it looks and the size is perfect for where I planned for it to go.
Considering this item is now sold out, I am so happy that I ordered it when I did. I wanted some sort of shelving unit for the end of our hallway, mainly for holding photos. The area we were placing it in isn’t that large, so we had to be very specific about the size of the unit. It was like this unit was made for where we placed it. It only took about 30 minutes for my husband and me to put it together. One last plus… We had purchased a unit from one of the warehouse stores a few months ago, but quickly realized it was too large for where we were putting it. That unit cost $120, and this one was less than half the price. Score! Incredibly happy with this purchase.
