The design is very nice, clean and simple. However while they say it is for all families, it is not for same-sex or single families. There is a page that says “how I told dad” in it. We are a two mom house, so I was upset that I will have to use white out over the dad part.
I emailed the company and they apologized and refunded half of my money back. They said in future copies they will remove the “dad” part so it will be for all families.
I bought it for a friend who is having a girl. She was already aware that I was getting her a memory book & she LOVED this style!!! When I received it I was not expecting ALL the stuff that came in the box. The book came in a white box & when you open it, the book itself is in a matching book holder & The book cover was simple, yet elegant. It came with a blank “Congratulations” card that you can write something nice to the new parents. There was also a nice letter from the company to the new parents/owner of the book & about their new exciting adventure. The box also included the 1-12 months stickers along with a few milestone stickers. Perfect size, nice strong pages, plenty of writing & picture space. I was actually trying to buy this exact gift for another friend, but it is sold out!! So, that kinda bummed me out. But if & when this gift is available again, I HIGHLY recommend it. My friend who I bought it for LOVES it & can’t wait until she can write in it ( which will be in the next few days lol)
I must have shopped for baby books for about 12 hours before finding this one and had almost given up. Comments about poor quality had me worried, but it is very elegant with a matching slide on cover that will make a great keepsake and will not look out of place on an adult book shelf. I would not expect to find a better book without paying twice as much. I wanted a book that did not assume all mommy's and daddy's were married and living a 1950's version of familial bliss that could at best be awkwardly explained or only avoided by tearing out the wedding page. This is free of tired assumptions and avoids having to explain things better left unsaid and puts the focus on the baby, where it should be. It is clearly baby themed on the inside in a very subtle way, so that that as an adult man the child will be able to appreciate it. Mom loves it.
This is the perfect unisex baby book since my husband and I don't know the gender yet of our baby that's about to arrive any day now! The packaging is really quality, and the book is the perfect amount of everything. There were certain baby books that I looked at that seemed to "babyish" or seemed overwhelming. I wanted to for sure do a baby book, but I also didn't want to feel overwhelmed when I thought about doing it. This book is the perfect mix of simple yet has enough prompts and memories to capture. When I opened this book, I immediately got excited to start filling it up because it wasn't overwhelming but yet it goes to 5 years old, which I wanted. Can't wait to take it to the hospital to get little foot and hand prints in it from the nurses!! Definitely recommend buying!!
Very cute, timeless baby book for folks who like a simpler, neutral look. I feel like this will still be cute in 30 years as there's not particular theme or tacky graphics. It's also beautifully assembled with a couple of envelopes for a lock of hair and other mementos and comes in a beautiful, protective case. Pretty much everything you could want or think of is available inside from a family tree, all the firsts, to pages up to 5 years old. There is plenty of room for photos. I do wish that it came with a little ink pad as many other books offer for hand and foot prints but I'm sure a standard ink pad would work just fine. I would certainly recommend to others and, in fact, may use it in the future as a baby shower gift as it's packaged so nicely

This memory book is exactly what I was looking for! I bought it for my baby boy who is coming in November and I think when he grows up he will not be embarrassed to show it to his significant other. I was looking for something without cute "babyish" decor and without super bright gender specific colors and this book matched my search precisely. Both the cover and the pages of this book are light grey and the letters on the cover are silver. The cover itself is very solid, covered with fabric which feels very nice and made to last forever. Inside it has enough place for photos and for notes, plus the laconic design gives you freedom to decorate it however you wish. My favorite page is "The world around me" where you write what's happening in the world on your baby's birthday.
Although this book is made as gender neutral, I wouldn't choose it for a girl, because it has somewhat masculine look and some prints inside are boyish - like hot air balloons, anchors and paper planes. But that's just my personal preference. On the whole, it is one great purchase and could make a great gift as well!
I fell in love with this baby book upon opening the package. The packaging is so much fun to open. It comes in a white cardboard box and inside of that, the actual book comes in a grey linen protective cover. I had so much fun opening the box and thankfully the book itself is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. The pages themselves are detailed, yet remain generic enough for freedom to insert you’re own traditions, etc. I love the grey and white palet also, as I was looking for something more neutral that I can put my own twist on. This book also comes with age stickers which I was not expecting. Overall this is a beautiful product, perfect as a gift for someone else, or for yourself.
It is so adorable and stylish! I didn't want to have cutesy book and was looking for a stylish one but with good content. I love how it has all the standard topics to cover but also enough space to improvise/change to purpose of pages. Also there are no outlines for pictures - makes it easy for me to just print out what i have and arrange in my way (we have a lot of images from instagram and standard pictures sizes from camera). Another big plus for me is that each topic has only 1-3 pages. I personally like when writing/messages and sweet and short rather then 10 pages long. Love the texture of the cover and the box too - makes it look very expensive. Can't wait to start filling it out for our baby boy <3
LOVE!!!! I researched a lot to find the perfect baby book. And I think this was it. Love the nutral and stylish layout. Great quality, paper is nice thickness, and the cover makes it great to have it sitting out in your decor and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Perfect to capture moments you want to charish forever! This would be an adorable baby shower gift also. (I wish I got it for my shower) I'll for sure get this for friends in the future as my gift.
We absolutely love this baby book!!! The designs inside are adorable without being to “childish” if that makes sense for a baby book. We liked how it was simple in design and gave many options for the information we intend to happily write in, in the next month. Perfect for a boy or a girl - but we are expecting a little boy.
