I spent $100 for mattress covers at the store. Salesman said they were not the cheap ones, they worked great, they had a lifetime warranty. First time my kid peed the bed she was near the edge. WARRANTY DOESNT COVER THE EDGE. Warranty only covers the surface. Useless. I ordered these this time. They are exactly the same as the $100 ones. There's no crunching sound, they're a soft terry cloth like material with a waterproof backing. Kids have peed on them, sadly, 4 times now. Doing well in wash too. This is all you need to protect your mattresses.
I purchased this mattress protector for my brother about a week ago to use on his brand new mattress. The full size fits his full-sized, 12 inch thick mattress very well, hugs it closely and is easy to put sheets over. My brother has cancer and is taking chemo, so we never know what's coming from one day to the next. Last night it was diarrhea. You can hardly believe that it would actually work because it's so thin and lightweight, but it did the trick totally. Stained sheet and a stain on the terrycloth side of the protector, but nothing - I mean nothing - got through to the protector's underside or to the mattress. It washed well and didn't take over long to dry.. I am sold and would buy this product again in a heartbeat. Sooo glad we got it when we did!
I don’t write reviews. To be honest. 1. I’m lazy. 2. I buy something and expect it to work and do what it is supposed to do.
However, this mattress cover deserves a review.
We have a cat who is extremely high maintenance. If the littler box is the tiniest bit dirty she will not use it. Instead, she likes to use the bed. (Lovely-right!?) have you ever tried to clean cat pee off a mattress before!? if so, I hope you have a comfy couch- by the time you scrub down the mattress and allow it to dry- Only to still smell pee and start the process all over again you’ll wish you bought this mattress cover months ago.
Honestly, it has been a life saver. The waterproof aspect of the cover has been life changing. No more scrubbing down the mattress- just take off the mattress cover and throw it in the washer and dryer and you’re good to go!

When we purchased our Temperpedic mattress 8 years ago. I purchased a mattress cover to protect my investment. I paid 80 dollars for the cover. I did purchase it from actual store that sold the mattress. The mattress cover backing has just started to peel, flake. After 8yrs it was time to replace the cover. I saw the reviews for the is one and was surprised that this looked just like the one I have. And it is... It’s soft not your typical plastic, rubber sheet. One of the reasons my cover has lasted is that I never put it in the Tumble dryer. I have always air dryed. This may help with the longevity. This price is a steal for the quality. We have deep 20 inches corners on the mattress and this pits perfectly.
Did a little test with water before I put the pad on, please see attached picture. Fits nicely and not too thick. I am satisfied with the purchase.

We previously had a waterproof mattress protector that we bought with our mattress but it fell apart the second time I washed it. This one has held up so well in comparision. I wash it every so often and hang it to dry and we've had NO problems with it at all. We have zero stains on our mattress because of this protector. With 3 cats and a messy 19 month old kid I'm glad I made this purchase.
I bought this cover for my queen size mattress. The cover is comfortably soft to hold, and it's fluffy on the outside. It feels even better than some of the mattress cover material I saw in the stores. I put it in the washer to eliminate the 'new' smell from the package. There was no noticeable shedding or shrinking after a wash cycle. With it under my bedding, I know my mattress will be well protected.
I bought this because someone had previously bought me a brand new queen size mattress pad cover for my queen size bed. However, the gift from a different store barely fit the mattress - regular mattress, not even pillow top, and if I so much as sat on the bed the corner would pop right off. If I turned in bed or one of my dogs shifted in the night, the corner would pop right off, pretty much nightly and multiple times/night. I looked at what Amazon had to offer and saw the reviews on this mattress pad. I have dogs, so I thought it would be a bonus to have a waterproof quality included. Based on reviews, I bought it. I received the mattress pad fast and as expected. It goes on so easy and fits extremely well. It would also fit a much taller mattress than mine but at the same time it is not loose and bunched up at all, nor is it too tight and barely fitting. Fits perfect. When I came home from church today, I found that my 120 lb doberman vomited pretty much a lake on the bed. When I lifted the mattress pad to see how well it performed...Perfect! The underside of the mattress pad was dry and of course so was the mattress. No staining, no transfer. I definitely recommend this mattress protector. I'm only washing it now for the first time, so I don't have an accurate assessment of the durability over time, but it certainly stands up to liquid. As a side note, it is almost like a thin terry cloth cover, soft, no noise or crunching. For those that like extra padding or fluffiness in a mattress pad: it is not fluffy or pillow like, so no extra padding. It is comfortable.
I use a sheet on top of this protector and I can’t hear a thing! Without the colored sheet: not scratchy and still don’t get hardly any plastic noises. Water test= didn’t go through!! Mattress protected! It’s the perfect size, snug but not hard to get on the mattress.. also, My mattress is about 1 1/2 feet tall and this protected still has plenty of fabric to tuck under. It could definitely fit around a standard box spring AND mattress. (The gray part of my bed is the frame)
I love this mattress cover! For all the reasons I am looking for. So last year I had to see an immunologist because of my chronic cough and he ended up advising me to get such a cover because I am allergic to dustmite. I did a bit of research then put it off. This year's high allergy season is coming soon. My husband and daughter had already been coughing for weeks. And also our 1.5 yo toddler keeps sleeping in our bed and messing it up with her various body fluids (which I will not specify here). So when I saw this one, I was like it is finally time to invest to protect our mattress and ourselves. The price is pretty reasonable for a Cal King size. And I liked how soft the top layer feels, which feels like full cotton, even though we do not sleep directly on it I can feel it through our thin layer of sheet ( we don't use anything in between currently and that is also why I feel it's so important to have another layer). Underneath the cotton layer there is a water proof layer. I was concerned about noise because it's kinda plasticy but now that we have put it on, I notice no trace if that. It is as good as we had nothing underneath. The bottom layer seems really water proof because when I washed it the water stayed pretty much on the surface. Yet we haven't had an accident yet so I can't say much there. The only difference I have noticed is that our mattress has a gel layer and some cooling effect, with this barrier I feel a bit less of that cooling effect. But I think that is to be expected for something that is waterproof. And I would exchange that for the protection anytime. Overall I am very satisfied with this product so far.
