We no longer use the standard string Christmas lights w/the bulbs. These strings are the perfect length for our staircases (we have two) with some left over. I absolutely LOVE the brightness of them. When you drive up to our house, it looks like a light is on; that's how bright they are. My personal preference is the warm white, but I did also buy a strand of the warm yellowish ones. those are nice, but I ended up giving them to my niece to decorate her room.
Excellent quality, easy to use and hang, the copper wire really “disappears” into the background and makes the light seem invisible. They look amazing! Only drawback- they are a little more bright white light than I was expecting. I was looking for cool warm lights and these are a little bit brighter but still work great for us! Would definitely buy again, these are excellent for decorating!
These are amazing! Way longer than I anticipated. The copper wire is beautiful, though you can't really see it during the day (can be a good thing!) The wire is easy to bend to curl around things. Note: it's not the usual soft white Christmas light color, more a cooler, more silvery white.
Got these for our 3 year old daughter's room in our camping trailer! They are perfect and adorable! They don't get hot at all and use very little power!
I love these! the copper wires are very light and thus look good even during the day when the lights are off. I usually turn them off when I go to bed and then back on in the morning. It has only been about a month, but they are still perfect. The two strands of lights were more than enough to go all the way around my dorm room (me & my roommate's sides). They are a soft white gold (not the blue light) which is exactly what I wanted! would definitely recommend!

1- Can you cut the light string to fit specific applications?
NO! End of the copper wires is welded with skilled operation. Cutting the lights will not only damage the lights, but also void the product warranty.
2- Is it safe to touch? Or to hang on curtains or trees?

These are great inexpensive lights. One of the power supplies is rated enough to power both strings, so I soldered one to the end of the other which made it easier to string around my tree. It took three strings total (1.5 boxes) to cover an 8 foot tree, but they make it look great since the wires aren't easily visible and the lights are perfectly bright to keep Mr. Claus from tripping around in the dark. No one wants a fat man's foot through their present.
I liked the color of the lights. They are bright, but the copper around them gives a nice warm glow. I will probably be buying more soon, as I did not realize how short they were, which was my own mistake of not measuring out where I wanted them to go first, and just guessing on the length needed. They were very easy to manipulate and hang up. The wire is thin, but I did not feel like they were in immediate danger of breaking just from us hanging them up.
I LOVE these lights! They're very light, thin and bright. The lights look like a droplet which is adorable. I used it to light my ceiling since it is curved and it did the job. I also used a set to combine with some fake ivy and it makes a great accent in my basement. I will definitely order again if I need more lights!
Very pleased with these. Bought them to wrap 2 grapevine wreaths for wedding decor. The copper looks great, the lights are warm and bright. The only thing that throws me off every time is that there is a delay when plugging them in until they actually light. I assume from using a plug-in adapter, but I have a brief moment of panic every time. Still love them!
I bought these last year and they worked great then but I wanted to update that now that a long, wet winter has passed and we are getting sun again, these lights are STILL working great. I never took them down so they are most definitely waterproof. I dusted off the solar panels and they were shining bright that evening! I'm very impressed I'm getting this much life out of them.
