This is my first pair of noise cancelling headphones, so I am no expert, but I am very happy with these headphones. My first real world experience with these headphones was recently on a 2-hour flight. As soon as I switched-on the noise cancelling button, I could tell a big difference. The background noise of the plane was not entirely eliminated, but dramatically reduced. I could hear people and sounds around me, but even without listening to music, it sounded like being in a quiet room. When listening to music, I did not have to over compensate by turning the volume up too high. I could keep the music volume at a normal level and still have a very good listening experience.
The only thing I noticed was when the plane was taking off and landing, the engine noise and vibration was loud enough that there was some popping sounds while the noise cancelling button was on. I just turned it off for a few seconds until the plane completed takeoff/landing. Not a problem or a complaint - just an observation.
The headphones are light and comfortable, and the materials are very nice. The ear pieces swivel to provide an excellent fit. I have not been able to test battery life to it's stated limit, but so far there has been no issue with battery life.
I am extremely pleased with the included case. Great material, rigid, and I can easily store the headphones in a backpack without worrying that it might get damaged.
These are really good headphones, and I highly recommend them to anyone.
Simply the best set of bluetooth headphones I’ve purchased. I own Boses’ ANC Bluetooth headphones and for the money, the TaoTronics rivals them in both sound and build quality for a fraction of the cost. I also own a set of Klipsch Bluetooth headphones, less the noise canceling feature, and the TaoTronics has a more superior sound even with the ANC feature on. Speaking of which, although the specs claim no difference in audio quality with the ANC feature turned on there is indeed a difference. The ANC feature causes the audio to have a muffed effect with a reduction in the high end quality. Ironically, this is similar to the audio quality of my Klipsch set without ANC!
If you’re looking for a set of high end Bluetooth headphones at a fraction of the cost for a name brand set with equal or lesser sound, you can’t go wrong with TaoTronics. My suggestion is to grab a set now before the price goes up. Because once the general populace and serious audiophiles (which I consider myself to be) realize the sound quality and begin to purchase in droves, the prices will only go up. Don’t say you haven’t been warned.
I bought the other Taotronics noise cancellation headphones (Taotronics TT-BH22) for myself recently and I absolutely loved them. My girlfriend who is an audiophile was so impressed that she asked me to buy her some as well. She decided she liked this style a lot better so we wanted to give these a try.
Verdict: We’re extremely happy with them! These headphones are amazing for the price! Impressively clear and crisp sound. Super stylish, lightweight, and comfortable. Great bluetooth connectivity with the option of using the aux cord that comes with it. Comes with an awesome hard case.
Some differences: the noise cancellation feature on this set works slightly better because it’s a bit tighter and compresses the head a bit more (however still not full proof). The highs are a bit more pronounced than the lows on this set but not that big of a difference. It’s just as sturdy as the TTBH22’s however with less flexibility, I’m personally a fan of headphones being able to fold in more than one direction. The style is arguably cooler and more modern.
Overall if this is your price point, these are exceedingly great and absolutely worth it. Trust me! I tried some Audio-Technica’s at the ~$150 price point, which performed at the same level.
I bought these specifically for the active noise cancelling (ANC) on flights and was a bit apprehensive since it seems like it's a feature where you get what you pay for. Bose are indisputably the best but cost hundreds of dollars and I don't fly enough to warrant that price. I've taken 2 round trip flights with these headphones and they work phenomenally in dealing the the drone of plane engines. However, they aren't magic and you can still hear people talking around you but it is bit quieter and less distracting. I'm able to say this because the ANC switch makes it easy to compare ANC on vs off. Based on the quality of the ANC for the price, I'm happy I bought these headphones.
In terms of sound quality, they are good but not great. This pair isn't the best headphones I have but they aren't tinny or muddled like some I've tried in the past.
Great pair of ANC headphones for a practical price for travelers.
I've had this only for a day, but I'm already a fan.
I got it because I wanted to use it at work to drown out my coworkers and their constant chatter and personal phone calls.
I received it at a perfect time because when I got to work this morning there was a loud, mechanical, rhythmic thump-thump-thump from the floor above (a machine drying out some flooding issues, I was later told).
As soon as I paired the bluetooth headphones to my computer and turned them on - no more thump-thump-thump!
I wasn't even playing music, and that horrible noise was gone!

Don't expect Bose quality, but I was pleased with it.
They don't drown out everything, but they do a dang good job.
I like these so much, I'm going to buy another for home.

I have to now edit this review. The headphones broke. The plastic band that goes over my head snapped. Totally useless now. My original review is below:
I took a long time deciding which headphones to purchase. I bought these headphones because the ratings were good and the price is reasonable. I haven't been disappointed. I have trouble understanding dialogue on some of my TV programs. I grew tired of turning the volume way up and rewinding and replaying to try to understand the words. Pairing these headphones with my TV was very easy. I initially went to advanced audio settings on my Samsung and activated blue tooth and turned on the headphones. It only took 2 minutes. Now, whenever I switch on my headphones, my TV automatically prompts me to connect my TV and headphones. So easy!! The sound is very clear. I hear and understand every word of my programs!! The battery life is amazing. I use them for hours and hours without charging. The noise cancelling exceeded my expectations. And they are comfortable and easy to adjust to my head size. I can wear them for hours without any discomfort at all. I let my adult daughter and son try them out and they were amazed. They are in their thirties and now they are going to purchase a pair. These headphones are really terrific. I highly recommend.
At first I was skeptical because of the cost of these wireless Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones. I took them on a trip with me to Norway and the 24-hour traveling time proved that these headphones battery life far exceeded my expectations. The headphones work great for Bluetooth and I'd never noticed a delay of audio while watching movies. Couple this with the TaoTronics Bluetooth transmitter / receiver device that they sell and it's money on the aircraft. I highly recommend these headphones over spending a fortune on other competitors.
These are really great for the money I mean really great. Quality build seems good (Time will tell), Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) works very nice and they are super comfortable. We just traveled internationally with TaoTronics (TT), Audio-Technica (AT), and a barrowed Bose set. Noise cancelling ability Bose is probably the best but it almost feels like it changes the pressure in your ears (strange feeling) my wife didn’t like the Bose so she took the TT over the others... The two others TT & AT do this too but not to the extent of the Bose. As for ANC they worked about the same TT & AT very good I would rate. All have the ability to do bluetooth as well as corded (I love that option). The price was just right $70 and for that you get a really nice pair of ANC headphones.
I was reluctant to buy these at first because I’d never heard of the brand and also read that some amazon reviews can be misleading. However, I purchased them anyway. These headphones are very comfortable, sound quality good, anc will block out ambient noises, and battery life is excellent. The only minor complaint I have is the bass can sound thin when listening to some heavily bass music. Overall, I would recommend these if your looking for a budget pair of headphones.
Been using these every day both wirelessly and wired and it's amazing. My only complaint is that the button layout is kinda wonky. The power button is on the FRONT side of the earcup, so if you want to turn it on or off while wearing them it's a really weird angle. Sound quality is pretty great, battery life is amazing, been using them daily for like 2 weeks and it's still at 60%. Granted, I'm not using it wirelessly every time, but I am using ANC every time and wirelessly fairly often. I got them when they were on sale for $40 so this was a steal.
