This is a great product for a great value!! I scoured the internet looking for good string to use for macrame and found this to be the best texture and by far the best price. I have reordered this product countless times. My only complaint is that they don’t sell it in a longer length! It is perfect for any household project you have, wrapping presents, but I especially love it for my macrame projects. I have had so many people ask me where I bought this from and have had many friends order it too and love it just as much!
So I loved the rope, only issue I have is that I bought two of the same a couple weeks apart and the second roll was twice the size of the first, I didn't measure them so I have no idea how long either roll was, just that they weren't the same size. I ordered the same item from the same vendor...so I guess you may want to measure your rope when you get it to make sure it's the length you ordered. Was probably just a mistake and will try ordering from them again. The rope itself was of good quality and it didn't have any weird oders that I noticed. It worked well for my project.
I’ve been doing Macrame for awhile now. I’ve been trying out the cotton rope on Amazon to see which one is best. This by far has been my favorite! The quality is great for the price! I’ve never had an issue with any of my orders or rope. I’ve bought this multiple times. 😃👍🏼
I just started learning how to macrame and used this for my latest project. it was the perfect amount to complete my wall hanging which was pretty sizable and the color was really great. Would probably take dye really well too which is great bc a lot of rope i was finding before was synthetic and couldn't take dye. Will for sure be buying again in the future!

I am an intermediate macrame-er and this is my first really large project--a 6.5' x 7' wedding backdrop. It works well for a shabby chic look, but if you are looking for more polish and sleekness, I would suggest a braided cord instead. This untwists and frays nicely for fringe. It seems pretty thin for 4 mm and newer order was not terribly consistent in diameter with a previous order. I had returned the 3 mm size as being way too small--nearly like crochet thread. That being said, there is minimal fraying, but I have run into a couple of dirty spots. I have ordered multiple times from this seller and only once have I had the skein re-start with a knot in the middle to add a additional length--if that makes sense.

I liked how this is cotton, and how it does not easily unravel as I work with it. I made my first macramae project with this.
This is my first time purchasing macrame cord. I do like it. I like the color and the feel of it, the only thing that I don't like so far is during my first project some red inner cording started to come through. I just ignored it though as this was my first project and it was for me. But if I was making something to sell, I would be disappointed.
I use tarred bank line where durability and stength matter, but for seasonal use in the garden, cotton is the way to go. This stuff is very soft and larger in diameter than others I've used, so shouldn't cut into plant stems. I use a lot of string for tying blackberry canes to their support, and in the winter prune the old canes away. Cotton twine can be cut and dropped on the ground for use by birds in nest building. Just don't let the pieces be too long as birds can become entangled and die. 4-6 inches is good.
String is string. It is easy to use and does not separate to easily when crafting, but can easily separate to make tassles. The reason for not being 5 stars is a quarter of the way through I found the string rewoven together and knotted. I'm guessing this is because you cannot make an infinitely long string, and therefore, this is just the connection of two strings made by the manufacturer. The center threads are double-knotted but the connection is still woven and twisted like the rest of it.
Product received, the packing is very careful, open the coil is quite tight, very big, the quality of the line was nice, feels very soft, very close, color is also very positive, cord knot is good, completely beyond my expectations, this color is very joker, you can talk with another color I like take a different style, I really like this product, thanks to amazon provides me with such a good shopping platform
