Bought for x box one
I want to say upfront that I am not a gamer, so you may want to read reviews by those that use this product specifically for that purpose. I am on my computer a lot though. I watch movies, listen to music, video chat, etc. While my computer does have bluetooth, I wanted to get a headset with a USB connection in order to alleviate the hassle of connecting and reconnecting across my laptop and desktop computers.
This product is really comfortable. It has two bridge supports between each ear piece. One is more solid in order to keep the headset firm to the sides of your head. The other is more rubber like to keep the headset from sliding down. The combination of the two makes the set feel very light. The cushion on the ear pieces are pliable but firm as well. Subsequently, this eliminates pressure but still allows for the headset to stay snug. I really like the microphone that can be extended and retracted. The fact that they light up with a subtle blue glow adds a little pizzazz to what could be a boring product.
The headset was extremely easy to set up. I plugged the male end of the USB cable into my laptop and the operating system quickly found the device and loaded the necessary drivers. The sound is way better than I expected from a $20 headset. I have watched five movies and used Skype to talk to my kids and grandchildren. I could hear them crystal clear. A great feature is the built in volume adjuster that is inline with the USB cable. Reversely, my family has had no issues with understanding me while using the microphone. In fact my daughter commented on how well it was picking up my voice after seeing how far away the microphone was from my face.
I do have friends and family that I would call "gamers". They go through headsets like crazy, so I am definitely going to recommend this set for their next purchase. For the price, I am not sure there is a better product on the market; and I definitely would not spend five to 10 times the money for a pair of Beats or Bose that sound no better.
I am not a gamer.
I do, however, spend a good deal of time at my computer. For movies, for various programs, for news clips, and so on, and now and then for a skype chat.
So having a headset that cancels the noise around me, delivers great sound, and includes a microphone is very important, and this unit fits the bill altogether.
Also, I don't care for blue tooth and try to avoid it. So on that score, this USB unit also serves me very well.
Alas, not all headsets are built well, and sometimes, the joints go, making the things unusable (as happened last year to my favorite Turtle Beach headphones).
So I keep new headphones around, just in case, and this one will serve me perfectly. Occasionally, moreover, I have a friend or neighbor who needs a set in a pinch, and I can always loan out the extras.
I'm thrilled with this headset, and if I had to buy one (as opposed to getting them free from Amazon Vine), I would definitely spring for this high-quality sound, microphone, wired unit.

Not the best sound ever, but not bad for the price.
Mic works, although again, not the highest quality. Buttons on cord work great to mute and control volume.
Note it uses a USB vice a headphone jack (if you're getting for PC).

Possibly worth a shot, as these are 3 star quality that get a bump up to 4 for the price point.
