For Arlo Pro 2: works as expected! No need to climb a ladder every 4-6 weeks to recharge.
I bought two of these for use with Arlo Pro 2 cameras. I am using with quick charge adaptors by Aukey. They work very well and fit just right with the Arlo outdoor mounts, see picture. However I would not consider this a weatherproof seal and will apply liquid tape to prevent water and moisture from getting in. This feels like a sturdy cable that I am confident going through the effort of attaching to the wall with clamps.
Works perfectly... I added silicone to the one camera out in the open for piece of mind but it is definitely a snug fit. That snug fit means it was a bit tough to plug in without removing the camera and then remounting it. I used the standard plug that came with the pro 2 and a spare quick charge 2.0 that I had living around.
While I was scrolling through the reviews I realized they were kind of mixed. I ordered two from this company and two from another just in case either two were bad. This is a great product. The cord is thick and feels durable. The micro usb fits in perfectly with the Arlo Pro 2 with no gaps. I'll post an update review in 3-6 months to let everyone know how it hold against the elements.
I bought this cable amongst the negative reviews I saw and I'm glad I did! There is absolutely nothing wrong with this cable. The issue that many people are running into is the fact that they are using a quickcharge 3.0 wall adapter. Arlo has specifically mentioned the need in having a QC 3.0 9V adapter. If you do not use this type of adapter with this cable, you will have problems with your camera. The cable is indeed a QC 3.0 compatible cable, but you need a QQC 3.0 adapter. I am using the adapter that came with my Arlo Pro system until my replacement QC 3.0 adapters come in from Amazon.
This cable is thick and looks like it will definitely hold up for atleast a few years. I'm working on a solution that will prevent the camera and plug from being exposed to rain, but so far, this cable works perfect. I bought a black one to run my other camera. There is just one issue though. During video playback, there is a small buzzing noise that can be heard when you have this cable connected, but it's nothing that takes away from the overall quality and performance of the camera.

Description
These cables work great and are weatherproof as stated(weve been getting rain every day since i installed to my cameras and havent had one hiccup). The only complaint i have is the cable create an audible clicking/whirring while live viewing and while it records. i plugged in the factory cable and the noise went away. Outside sound is still clear over the whirring so i will continue to use them! if these didn't make the noise, i would give a 5 star no question!!
I own 5 of these cables for my Arlo Pro 2 cameras. The cables work very well. However, you have to position the cable just right to get it to fit because there is very little wiggle room within the connection. Once it is in position the connector doesn't want to let go and it should last many years of service.
Bought this to provide power for Arlo Pro 2 camera. It's been 2 running fine. Works as expected.
AFTER I CONNECTED IT TO MY ARLO IT SAID IT WAS NOT COMPATIBLE AND WOULD ONLY CHARGE TO 85 PERCENT BUT AFTER IT WARMED UP TO ABOVE 35 DEGREES IT STARTED WORKING AS IT SHOULD SO VERY HAPPY WITH IT.
Long enough. Even if the camera is placed on ceiling, the line is long enough to connect to the plugs on ground. Actually it is one side USB port, another side is regular port for camera or any same plug ports.
