Good socks. Thick and warm. The colors are great and the material is soft. The socks are not quite high enough for my tall boots but they fit great with my shorter boots. My only wish is for them to be taller. I would like to wear them with my shorter boots and be able to scrunch them down more at the top. I love the pattern, colors and fabric.
Wool is often a big no for me in any clothing, my skin is sensitive and most of the time I end up feeling so itchy from wool/wool-blends because something in the wool just comes off as incredibly scratchy to me. There are some I can tolerate but IME it's few and far between. But wool socks are definitely the best for warmth so I keep trying.
Thankfully these don't irritate my skin! They're wonderful, they're lightweight yet warm (not sweaty though!), colors are bold, and they're so very soft I'm probably going to be able to wear them to bed once Dec/Jan hits. Durability is something I'll have to test more long-term of course but they feel semi-thick so I'm not overly concerned about them falling apart any time soon.
A small warning to folks with hardwood floors though - these baby's are SLIPPERY. After putting on a pair as soon as I got them I almost went sliding across my hall. Be careful!

These socks will work to keep my feet toasty during the winter months. They work well with boots, slip-on tennis shoes, hiking boots. I did find that they do feel a little snug on my ankles. (I have shapely calves which sometimes makes it difficult to find knee high boots that fit correctly.) They feet my feet perfectly. I wear between a Women's 8 1/2 to size 9 shoe. Nice classic design.
cute and warm, but kind of itches you (not that soft and smooth). Be sure to wash it before wearing: I got fibers all over my sink after washing the socks.
These are very pretty and durable and the perfect thickness. I wear women's size 11 shoes and these are stretchy enough to fit. It's true that out of the package they are not the softest socks in the world, but not to the point of being uncomfortable, and they do get softer after washing. It's also true that right out of the package there is a slight chemical smell to them, but this dissipates quickly. I am happy with them and would buy again.

They are wool and a bit scratchy till washed a few times. They keep my feet warm and dry which is all I need at this time. I dry them on line, rather than in the dryer to avoid shrinkage as they fit well and I'd like to keep them that way. No reason to make felt. Good colors with no fade.
I LOVE SOCKS!! And I really like these. For some reason, it is sometimes difficult to find a good quality sock that is stretchy enough to provide comfort and ease of wear, but also holds it's elasticity and stays in place. These socks do all of that. They go on easily, stretch easily. And they stay in place. Have not had any problems with them slipping on the foot or on the lower calf. The only thing I have noticed a 'bit' of (and just a bit) is some pilling. I haven't quite figured out if it's sock or what I may have been wearing. Maybe a bit of both. But, they are still great and I love the heathering type weave.
These socks are very warm and feel good. They're thick enough to wear with boots that aren't lined with fleece, not sure about my boots and shoes that are fleece lined. I haven't tried that yet. But the fit is perfect and they are very warm. I would recommend these socks. In fact, I'm getting ready to order some for a friend whose feet are always cold like mine!
Honestly probably the best socks ever.
And I have average width calves, I normally have trouble with high rise socks but these sorta ‘stretch’ around the rim. So they’re really flattering.
And even if your calves are bigger you can wear them more with the ‘wrinkled’ style.
Buy these, you won’t regret it.
I'm not familiar with the average lifespan of a sock, but I'm writing this review two years after having purchased them and only now are they finally starting to get holes in the toes and heels. I would definitely buy them again since the colors are great and they can work both as warm socks for the winter and not too heavy socks for the summer.
