Finally a really good LED flood light. Very impressed with the amount of light provided as well as the 'warm' tone. The adjustability of the side lights is a neat feature. It provides a little bit more of area illumination or you can focus all three lens forward for max light in front of the fixture. In my photos I am comparing this 30W LED (3 head) to my existing 300W halogen (2 head). The LED is on the left side of the small door. Very satisfied. Installation was easy. Three wires and three phillips screws. I have nothing but good impressions on this new install. I hope this fixture performs without any problems and provides the long life that LEDs are known for. If it does I know I will enjoy the 90% less power requirement.
The opening of a methadone clinic nearby has produced a major spike in the number of drugged out homeless in my neighborhood. Property theft and break-ins have increased tenfold in what was once a nice area. These lights are perfect to illuminate otherwise dark corners of my property and they were simple to install. My neighbors weren't too impressed at their brightness so I had to adjust the aim a little but that was easy enough. I suggest buying them if you you're looking for a decent, bright LED light to help with security. Or if you just want to aggravate the people next door.
This Chinese made security light is well designed and the three head arrangement helps to get the light aimed where you want it. This model doe not have a motion sensor or a day/night sensor so you need to turn it off or on using a wall switch. There are two models of this product. One model has a "cool white" LED light and the other has a "warm white" (3000k) light. The 3000k version is not quite as bright but looks more like the old incandescent light in regard to the wavelength. For maximum brightness choose the "cool white" version. These lights may be used indoors or outdoors. I have of the "cool white" lights in my barn and am in the process of switching from halogen lights to these LED lights. The warm white led units are being used in a large spa/sunroom. They are about 17 feet above the floor and illuminate the room well enough that I can easily read a book at night. These two light arrays replace an old track light system that used eight 100 watt floodlamps. Caution: This unit requires an octagon electrical box for mounting. A bar is included with the light that mounts diagonally across the two screw hole on the octagon box. At the centerpoint of the bar is a screw that is used to hold the light in place. If the bar is not level with your wall surface you will have a problem getting the mounting "nut" to mate up with the screw. You may need to get a longer screw from the hardware store.
Be sure to bring the bar with you to the store to make sure that the new screw has the same size and threads as the one included on the bar.
Easy install, easy aiming. The lamp housing is metal, but the base and arms are plastic. I am skeptical about any plastic standing up to years of the elements, but will be fine for a few years at least. Diffuse light, will not project very far. Great for my space but maybe not for others.
These are fantastic. I am replacing seven 500w tungsten floodlights in our back yard, and these have great color, coverage and brightness.
Two tips for installation: if you have siding, you may need to replace the screw stud for a longer one. Secondly, before you bring the light out to install it, loosen the side screw and tilt it all the way up. That way when you get on the ladder the installation screws will be easy to get to.

Purchase a 2-pack of these (one for the back and one for the front yard) and they are awesome! Very bright and easy to install. The install was < 10 min for each and that included removing the existing fixture. The ones that were replaced used two $7 bulbs and these are going to save me a bundle $$!! I would highly recommend these flood lights for any yard, deck, pool, stairs, or anywhere you need some light!
So far so good, aside from the fact I found out the previous fixture was just screwed into the house so I installed a jbox at 9:30 pm haha. Anyhow, the light fixture is a nice weight, feels well made. The light it puts off is a nice color temperature, and it is very very bright. I can see quite far. We used it to light our deck and lawn at night since we're semi rural and have lots of wild animals our dog loves to chase. Now we can see most of the half acre fairly well, so we can let her out. Definitely recommend this as a good budget option for flood lights.
I purchased this desiring to have a light that I could switch on and off from inside the house at night. I did not want a light that was motion activated but did want a photocell which would prevent it from coming on during the daytime as well as give me the option of leaving it on 24/7 as a security light. And I wanted an LED light due to the longevity of the light producing element (in short, I didn't want to have to change the lamp every year or so). This light was everything I was looking for and more. It is very bright and lights the area I need lit very well. I am lighting a back porch which is about 12 by 20. And it handles that very well including the steps going down into the yard. I especially like the adjustable mechanisms so I can focus the light light on specific areas. I bought four of them (total) and am waiting for the rain to stop to install the other three. I highly recommend them !

It was so small I thought about sending it back. But when it was installed the light was so bright I was worried about neighbors. The light is broad not a spot but it will light an area very well. has good adjustments
