I have been sharpening knives on and off for 50 years. In the last six months I have purchased three stones and found them sub par! so I just go back to the old stand bys that do an adequate job. Then comes along some wild claims about how fast and easy it is to sharpen your knifes!!! Wow!!! was I surprised!!!! Not only does it sharpen the knives damn good, it only takes a few minutes!! Sharpening angle seems to sharpen one side more that the other. Leaves a small lip so you have to adjust to it. Otherwise it does ok. Got the knicks out.

Spar pen older Henkel knives
Recently bought few sharpeners priced up to 250 dollars and surprisingly didn't notice any difference with the Redpeaq one. It does make our chef knifes sharp for the fraction of the price. Great quality and great value.
