Yes it's felt, but it does do the job. large enough mat for a 1500 piece puzzle. Makes it easy to put the puzzle up when we need the kitchen table and can take it on trips with us. Like the 3 bands and the bright green Color for contast. It works and is good quality and makes dealing with half built puzzles much easier.

I bought this for my parents’ house because growing up, we always had a puzzle up, but no one has room for that any more! I like this mat, just want to let people know....the inflatable tube can't be blown up like a balloon. You'll definitely need an air pump of some kind. We used an air compressor to fill ours.
