I ended up needing this inflator literally the day it arrived - my car started showing low pressure on one tire as I was headed home. So, I walked in, unpacked it, and put it to work! It plugs in easily to the 12v socket and the cable is long enough to get the unit near all 4 tires. Setting the desired pressure is intuitive and easy, and it shuts off as expected immediately upon reaching the specified level.
***UPDATE***
To my previous points about convenience and simplicity, I can now add surprising durability. Due to a convergence of circumstances, I was forced to cover almost a thousand miles with a moderate leak that dropped one tire into a low pressure state every 20-30 minutes. Having now hooked up and used this pump several dozen times (possibly 100+), for a total runtime of several hours, I am pleasantly surprised to see that it still runs like a champ. For the price, it's quite impressive. (Please note that I rigorously adhere to the cooling time instructions... if you frequently run it hot for more than a few minutes, the lifespan probably drops quickly)
I recently bought one for my wife and one for a friend, and, and may order more in the future for my company to use & gift as promotions.
This pump was exactly what I wanted. Super small, stores in my truck and we can pump up our mountain bikes easily now. Great for emergencies too.
I bought this because every so often I have to air up one tire on my car (very slowly losing air). I got tired of going to a gas station and doing it on the way to work, so I decided to get this. I had a chance to use it twice already: once for my wife's tires, and once for my tire. My wife has OnStar, and they sent her an email update that her tires were a little low. I took the mini compressor out and went to work. I plugged it in to the lighter socket, put the nozzle on the tire, and got a reading of about 30 lbs. per tire. I inflated all 4 to 35 psi, spending about a minute per tire. The compressor isn't TOO noisy, and to really top the air off, I turned the unit off and on about twice per tire to get a true 35 psi according to the gauge on the unit. A few days later, my check tire indicator lit up. I hooked up the unit, inflated the tire (again using the on-off-on method) from 30 psi to 35 psi in about a minute.
I like the compressor a lot, and feel it saved me time and inconvenience from going to a gas station.
I’m 100% satisfied with my Digital Car Tire Inflator. While I like that I can program a specific amount of air to enter my tire there is one feature that is worth gold to me. My previous inflator was very difficult for this great grandmother to attach it to a tire due to it having a lever-lock that I’m no longer strong enough to pull it over where it needs to be to attach. Now, putting air in my tires, (car, lawnmower, and mobility scooter) is a breeze! Screw the inflator tip on same as if screwing your tire cap on, and unscrewing as if removing the little black or silver tire cap. No level to struggle with for those who are not particularly strong.
The thing I like most about this is the auto-shutoff. I've used it for inflating a bicycle tire that was completed flattened over the year since last summer, and this pump filled it up in about 2 minutes. The auto shutoff makes it very easy and convenient to adjust the car tire pressure periodically; with my old pump that used to be a chore since I had to keep monitoring the pressure as the pump did its job.
Like other reviewers have mentioned, this tends to lose a bit of air while you attach it to the tire valve; but I think I have figured out how to minimize that loss of air. As you start to turn the thread onto the valve, pull the hose away from the tire and keep threading till you hear air hissing out. At that time, you push the hose toward the valve and it stops letting the air out. Don't forget to finish threading the hose on completely while you push and hold the hose against the valve.

How did I live without this.works perfect had 2 tires leaking air one fast one slow. Will have to get new tires soon But while I am saving for them .No waiting in line at gas station for air.takes me 4 minutes and filled with air.Very easy to use .Cord long enough it reaches all my tires on my SUV.
This product works great for my needs. It's there when I need it to add extra air to my tires so I don't have to make a trip to the gas station and pay 50 cents for a couple of minutes, it takes me a minute or so just to transfer from tire to tire! I don't need to have it on very long at a time so I haven't had any over heating of the unit. Very convenient and easy to use.
Great value--there are more expensive models that don't work as well. This one functions exactly as described and came with all the advertised accessories. I used it to pump up 2 bike tires and it accomplished this task quickly. i'm so glad i bought this. It even came with a case for storage.
I can't turn my neck as a result of a car accident years ago. As you might imagine, putting air in a slow leak tire is a pain. I literally have to bend over and look through my legs. No longer. I set this wonderful machine on the ground and I can look straight down and read those large numbers. It's so easy to use. No more waiting in lines at gas stations and listening to the laughter as I tried to hold the nozzle onto the valve and then read the air pressure while looking through my legs. This machine also has a little nozzle you can twist and it stays on the valve until you take it off. I'm a walking commercial about this machine.
Hasn't broke yet and doesn't look like it will anytime soon
