Love these mitts! I have several different types of oven mitts but these are my favorite. With regular mitts the heat still sometimes seaps through but with these, there is no heat and there is no possibility of burning your hand when you accidently come into contact with the oven racks. I broiled steaks the other night and even at 500 degrees when I took the pan out, there was no heat. Highly recommend these mitts!
I bought these mitts to replace my cloth oven mitts. Even if the cloth oven mitts get a little bit wet, you will burn your hands. No need to worry about that issue with these and great for grilling too.
So far so good. I like that it's a set of 2, just in case, but I've used these at least 10 times in the last week and they're holding up just fine. And I can't feel anything underneath the mitt.
I bought these because my husband caught the last two pairs I bought on fire. So far, these have held up from his destruction!

It's the first time I've bought grown up oven mitts instead of dollar store ones and I couldn't be happier. I like the silicone because it is much more heat resistant than fabric. It's nice to have the fabric on the inside though because it is more comfortable for your hands. I am always sticking the oven mitt thumb into the dish when I pull it from the oven or micorwave which is gross for the food and makes the mitt gross. I love that you can wash the silicone off on these. They stay much cleaner that way. Definitely recommend! I'd love to see more fun fabric options on the inside besides just stripes.
I was scared to use these as they feel very thin, and tought they not gonna protect my hands from the heat. Yes, the cloth lining is thin but what protects from the heat is the outer layer of silicone (or whatever it is lol). These are cute and very easy to clean. If I mess them up just wipe of clean with the sponge and soap and then wipe them dry, easy peasy! That's why I think these will last me a lot longer that every other classic oven mitts.
