So I've used UB pro cases for many devices over the years. They are my go to due to their extremely strength and ruggedness. They offer great protection at a low cost compared with the competition, and outperform competition in most cases imho.
Ordered this case expecting it to be like my previous UB cases. And for the most part it is, but not without a few negatives.
1.) The built in screen protector causes problems with the OP6T ie. Pocket Mode Not working, incoming calls showing plain black screen due to proximity sensor being triggered and auto brightness not working.
This was easily fixed by nicely cutting out the built in screen protector.
2 the stand is great but not sure how long it will last. It's not flimsy by any means but mechanical things are prone to failure eventually. It also adds bulk making the case thicker and heavier than it needs to be. (The added weight and thickness isn't worth the stand for me)
All in all I needed a case like this for my duties as an EMT and am happy with it. But wish it were like the older models.
I recommend it as long as your ok with these things and are willing to modify the case slightly to fix them.
Adds quite a bit of bulk to my device but it also feels like I could throw the device down the street and it wouldn't get hurt a bit. Very sturdy and I love the holster it comes with. No reduction in touch sensitivitiy and after setting up the in display fingerprint reader with the case and screen protector on, I have no issues getting it to work 90% of the time. Overall very happy with the case.
Solidest case on the planet! With a built-in plastic screen protector.
The fit is excellent on the OnePlus 6t. Very thick and all edges are rubberised at around 3-5mm thickness, so no chance of shattering the screen if the phone drops in the corner.
Rubber doors cover charging port and the silent switch. Plastic stand on the back feels like it's going to break every time I try to lift it open from its clips, but handy for instances when you're lazy to hold your phone.
Hardest part of installing is making sure there are no dust particles on the phone screen before applying the top half of the case (with the screen protector). After that, it's just as easy as popping on the back cover.
Screen protector has tiny dots embedded in it as all Supcases do... Not sure what they are (I don't know if the pics show it clearly), but they DO NOT AFFECT IMAGE QUALITY this time, unlike on their older products eg. the Samsung Galaxy tab s2 8 inch where they were readily apparent.
TIP: Place a D-brand or SopiGuard skin on the back before installing to protect the rear from any unlikely scratches. I used a black carbon fiber one... If only it was red or yellow :P
Excellent product I been waiting for a month to be available to get it. I been buying this brand for a few years now, no complaints, just I would like to be flat, to be able to use it for my car magnetic mount. Thanks excellent product, strong and reliable.
Feels awesome on the phone, I have rather large hands and prefer a bulky phone, this case seems to be every bit as good as any previous OtterBox I have had. With all of my OtterBox defenders, there always seemed to he a space under the built in screen protector where you could feel or hear your finger taps.. not with this supcase, it is flush with the screen. OtterBox did have an excellent warranty and would send me the entire case every time my belt clip would break.... But given the price difference, I am happy with this case.

Starting off with good things kick stand seems very durable honestly the longest kick stand I've had (work construction) love the built in screen protector to a certain degree. Love the volume buttons as well as power buttons. Really love how raised up from the screen the case is.
Bad things next, okay so the dust flaps don't actually do a whole lot as the kick stand has holes/vents? Going into the case. Wished the speaker ports had a cover but again the kick stand thing, the screen protector after my first drop came unglued I had it for roughly 1 1/2 months it's still slightly bent there and doesn't stick easy fix tho but lastly as a guy who cuts his nails shorter vs longer sometimes the case won't let me switch the sound slider I guess more of a personal problem then a case problem but making that a bit bigger would be great.
I purchased my 6T on the launch date and have since been searching for a case that covers the phone entirely similar to an otterbox. I was in a similar position when I purchased my last phone, the Samsung S7 edge, as the phone had just come out and the case selection was limited. I've always preferred otterboxes, and this is the second time I've tried Supcase as an alternative because they got a design out before long before otter box and the build quality is a close second in my opinion to their otterbox counterparts only lacking a warranty which for the price would be surprising.
Over all the case is great giving you full protection on the back and screen with holes for the camera and access to all ports.
Only negative I've experienced is snapping the front face on to the phone will scratch the chrome volume buttons.
This case feel solid and the fingerprint reader works with the built in screen protector. It is heavy, but I'm ok sacrificing the weight for protection.
So I have pocket mode turned on for my phone, but it will not work for this case due to the top covering. I literally had to turn it off in order for me to use this case. After trying to install the screen protector for the 4th time due to dust and particles i finally got it to work out.
Overall I like this phone case, the only real issue is the pocket mode but I can turn that off. Besides that with the belt holster it looks like a tank is hooked to my hip.
Firstly, this case DOES work with the factory installed screen protector from 1+. However, I needed to disable the "Pocket Mode" for the phone since it appears the sensor for it is blocked enough to trigger it every time you use the feature to "tap screen to wake". The screen that comes with the case is a fingerprint magnet, within minutes of using it it's covered in smears all over and dust/lint will stick to it hard. But with my complaints out of the way, this is the most protective case I've bought and it feels well-put together. It is definitely a bully case, but that's to be expected for how solid it feels. I do like the case and plan to use it a while.
