It's very nice, smooth, well-built and, well, holds napkins. It has four little rubber feet for furniture protection. It's larger than most napkin holders. The red napkins shown in the ad photo are extra large napkins. Average sized napkins are above the rim by only about half an inch, and don't come near the sides.
This would be 5 stars, but the picture doesn't show that the holder arrives with black rubberized guards on each of the corners. I hoped I could remove them but saw that the edges are quite sharp and will scratch our wooden table. Maybe I'll think of a fix, but it doesn't seem possible, as the edges are so narrow.
Nice quality, but I wish it were a little wider to accept more napkins. Then again, that is my issue, not theirs.
This is large, but I love it. It holds the standard size square napkin without it "flopping" over. And washing it is a breeze. The brushed steel looks very nice.
This is a really nice napkin holder but it is BIG. Check dimensions. it would be good for a mess hall, but not necessarily a residential kitchen.

I received this item today. It looks exactly like the online picture. I was very impressed with the weight and quality of this napkin holder. It comes with tiny rubber pads on the bottom to protect the surface it sits on and holds a good number of napkins.
I ended up using mine on my desk to hold some documents that need attention. I'll be getting another one for napkins.
