This thing is awesome. It started my car with no trouble with a completely dead battery. Now, I have to admit, I bought more power than I needed --1500A is overkill for my Audi TT's 4 cylinder. But still, it's nice to know that you have a battery that can start your car even when the battery is totally dead.
Also, the device won't let you hook it up backwards. The only thing I really dislike about my car is that the battery terminals aren't labelled -- both have black wires. When starting with a dead battery, you have to hold down a "boost" button so the charger knows to tell it to send power even when it can't detect a battery and this wouldn't work with the terminals reversed. Once I had the terminals on right, the boost button started flashing green and my car started! Very Cool. Your milage may vary -- I'm assuming the battery had some charge in it, just not enough to turn on anything on the interior of the car.
This is a great product that is so flexible in how it can be used. The unit has a quality feel and the accessories, starter lead and multi connector USB charger, fit snugly into the excellent zip up protective case. Imazing were also very helpful resolving a problem with the unit.
I purchased this several months ago, but only used it to charge my phone and Kindle. Then it happened, by SUV battery died. I used the Imazing Portable Jump started. It was only 59% charged but it worked with one crank. It's very simple to use/hook up and I would recommend this to anyone who's worried about being stuck somewhere without jumper cables.

I have a V8 Toyota and this jump starter can jump it with no problem. I am now a firm believer. Instruction manual is easy to read, just connect the clamp to the battery pole, green indicator on the jump starter turned on then you can start the car in a second. The last time I jump started my daughters car because of a flat battery I then had a problem with my car and so when my wife's car wouldn't start with battery problem (she only does short journeys) I decided to order a starter. As this would also charge other devices I ordered it. It came next day and when it arrived I have to say i was some what sceptical due to the size but I was impressed with the case and multiple device cable.
I read the instructions and then went to start my wifes car which was barely turning over on the battery (bad weather in the uk also) I connected the battery up with the supplied cables and turned the car over and was amazed when the car started first time.
So very impressed with this product and also that can be used for phone, tablet, camera etc.
Would definitely recommend but please check what car engine you have ours was a 6.0l diesel vw and worked fine but larger engine cars may need I higher capacity.
Handy case is provided so can keep in the car but make sure you keep it charged, looking forward to making good use of this when power is not always available.

I bought This jump start last month and held off with a review as to give me time to let the happy newness rub off and to put this though a bunch of normal use tests. I can now say that this is the best thing that I have bought on Amazon in a long time. I have used it to charge two cell phones at the same time and it did it with no problems, it charged them FAST too, charged them as if I was plugged into a wall outlet. This past week I was getting my work truck and mower every for service and both had dead batteries. It grabbed this jump starter and hooked it up to my Dodge Hemi truck. This battery was dead it wouldn't even made the normal buzzing sound when turning the key, so I hooked this up and very first try this whipped over the engine like I had put a new battery in my truck. I was very impressed. then same day and without recharging the jump starter I hook it up to my JD Z-turn it also had a very dead battery from winter storage and it to turn over and start right up with the help of this jump start pack. Plus this pack is so thin that I was able to place it next to the battery and sit on the mower seat without the jump start pack getting in the way. I thought that was cool.
