Before writing this, I saw many other reviews and some people complained about the camera not setting up for use. I have to say, that is not the case. You just need patience as it takes some time. I connected the camera to power, it made some sounds and the red light on the unit kept flashing as expected. I downloaded the app (just scan QR code) and registered (I don't like this part but I know why it is useful..more on that later) my email address and received the code promptly which I used.
Told the app my wifi password and then added the camera in the app by scanning the QR code from behind the camera unit. It took around 2 minutes for the camera to get added. Once it was done, It was online. The video quality was pretty good (it is supposedly 720p). But I cannot get full screen video which is a downer. You can change the video quality from within the camera interface on your phone.
At night, the IR lights on the camera come on (clearly visible) telling that night vision is on. The night video is also pretty decent. I didn't use the MicroSD card so never recorded anything but you can take pictures on your phone and save it. Also you can take video from your phone and save in your camera roll.
I like the 180 degree flip feature since this way, you can install the camera upside down and still get picture in correct orientation. You cannot move the camera remotely and the description doesn't say that too so people needing that feature should not buy this. You have to manually position the camera.
Overall for the price (of 2 camera), this is pretty decent and does the job. One should ideally read the manual before attempting the connection and all.
I was surprised looking at its price which is only $20.99. I was looking for something cheap yet reliable because its nice to have an indoor security camera to keep an eye on the dog and when we are away. Great image in the dark and motion tracking notifications work great. For the price, it's a cheap and easy way to get 720p HD video going. The camera has a pretty small footprint and nice looking. The notifications via the app are pretty solid. Also, it integrates with Amazon alexa which is a super cool feature. Besides, the alert settings can be customized via app. It supports cloud storage too so all of your videos are handy. No need to spend on memory cards. The app works fine and it was easy to set up though for newbie who never paired such devices may find it troubling. Quality is good for the price. The infrared light is a bit limited for night viewing. The camera can rotate left - right, up & down. It's length is nearly as equal to Apple TV remote so it can be stealthily set up and connected too without anyone's notice. For this price this device gets a thumbs up from me.
I already have a few cameras installed in my house and needed one for the kitchen. The installation was a breeze, also it has a slot for local memory. I put a 32 GB microSD. It does a constant record or record on motion. If I do the record on motion it alerts the phone, so I had to go into the settings and disable my alerts on the phone so it doesn't go off everytime my kids are in the kitchen. The video quality is must better than I thought it would be. It has a built in microphone, so I can talk with my wife or kids right thru the camera. I trying to talk my wife into getting another one for the baby room.
I use this as a baby monitor. I set up motion alerts and my phone chimes when baby is stirring. The camera quality is ok. I knew it would be somewhat grainy due to it being a 720. Which is fine, I don’t need to count my baby’s hairs. It automatically goes into night vision on its own and it is a great image. The only downfall is that when I get kicked off line it takes a long time to get it to reconnect to WiFi. But seeing as I paid less than $25, I can’t complain too much. It’s an excellent monitor for the price. I’m very pleased and have recommended this to multiple people.
I am not a big fan of paying for cloud subscription for storing my video (limited time as well). This camera has the micro SD storage option, and the cloud (plus real time over IP) is something extra value for me. The color all black is easy to hide in places where the thefts will be hard to detect, and the camera can rotate in any direction, all around. The picture quality is clear. The only complain I have is the white cable and adaptor (when the whole thing is black), need to get a black cable so I can “hide” it (or blend in the environment).

We are very happy with this camera. It was easy to install, easy to use and a great price. We can now check in on our dogs when are out of the house. Great video and with the sound, we can speak to our dogs and hear them.
This is a good camera for the price. It was initially a little hard to install because the internet password can’t have special characters, so we had to change our password. After that, I was able to install it by clicking on “install a different way” and using the camera to scan the QR code on my phone. My only complaint so far is that the motion detection sometimes stops working. I’ve found that uninstalling the camera from my phone and reinstalling it will reset the motion detection. It is a bit of a pain, but I’m still happy with the camera because of the $20 price.
I like this product very much. First of all, the packaging looks good and the product is of high quality. Secondly, the picture quality of the camera is very clear, you can see everything in the room clearly on the phone, I can use this product to monitor the baby's every move, it is really perfect.
Got the to setup and be able to keep tabs on the house when away from home. Works great. App works great and being notified when motion is detected works great also. I also like being able to see what my dogs are doing when I'm not there and the ability to talk to them through the camera is also great. I'd definitely buy again.
I've bought several different webcams, spy cams, indoor cameras, outdoor cameras, and security cameras from this company because they're priced competitively and high quality. Will likely buy more. Also, would make a great gift for any friends with pets or small children they want to keep an eye on.
