So, after many years I decided to use better measurement tools for my projects. If you are young and starting out with woodworking, crafting, etc... buy the best measurement tools available! I really like the smaller rulers for photo print and small craft projects. The 12" straight edge rule "may" become my go-to ruler. I have 24" that is awesome!
It is quite tough and has a nice industrial feeling to it. However, it's sharp around the corners, and also, it's slightly bent so you have to press it down to keep it flat when you use it. Otherwise, not too many complaints.
