I hope to be 72 years old in a week or two. I have been using oven mitts since I was a child. Frequently I find myself saying; "Ow..ow...this hurts..." & wanting to put something hot down as soon as possible. Not this time. Is the price two or three times as much as a conventional mitt on sale? YES. But I hope to have the discretion to never purchase a conventional mitt again. I just used it today for the first time. When my husband comes home from work tonight I plan on saying to him: "Use this black thing. It works!!" Just a wonderful, effective purchase.
I should have gotten a pair of these FOREVER ago! I'm so sick of buying thin pairs for cheap that burn your hand or cotton mits that get stained with every use. These work very well and they are long. I could hold a hot pan for one minute before starting to feel a little warmth. Great price for such a helpful kitchen item.

The mitts were made well and easy to use. The opening around the arm was abit small
